Great product
Pan is very light in weight but the attachments are worth it!

Thin, but usable
The one I received had a couple of minor dents in the bottom that appear to have been made during manufacture. It appears that some tiny chips or something got in the press when the pot was stamped out, causing the dents, and the enamel was applied over them. The inside of the pot has no leaks or chips, so the pot works fine. The pot is a lot thinner and lighter than I expected. That's a minus and a plus. It might dent easily, which might cause a crack in the enamel. But it heats quickly. Which may also result in food scorching on the bottom if you're cooking in the outer pot. But the light weight makes it easy to wash. The instructions seem to acknowledge the handles are a weak point, because they recommend not lifting the pot by the handles if the pot is over three-quarters full. I lift by the rim and handles at the same time. (Use pot holders for this if the pot is hot, of course.) When blanching, you can't overfill or the boiling water will climb right up the gap between the inner and outer pot and boil over. You have to blanch in small batches.

So glad I finally found this!
In approximately 1970, I purchased a set of enamelware like this. It had a couple of additional inserts that fit just fine in this pot, so that's great. There's nothing like enamelware. It may not be fancy, it may not be stoneware or cast iron or any of that stuff, but it is excellent value for the money. The one I purchased in 1970 was finally developing a few small rust spots in the bottom of the pot, so it seemed best to replace it. The inserts that came with my original one are still in perfect condition, despite considerable use. Somehow I think 52 years was pretty good value for the money! This has a steamer insert that enables you to cook stock, pull out the steamer insert and drain leaving the bones, skin, and veg in the strainer. You'll still need to strain the broth though, this isn't a mesh strainer, it's basically a colander. Works great for pasta too. It also makes great layered dinners, like potatoes and carrots on the bottom of the insert, then cabbage then shrimp on top, etc. The other advantage is that, while it's sturdy, it doesn't weigh a ton. So once I put a four or five pound chicken and a bunch of vegetables in it, I can still pick it up to put it in and out of the oven safely. Do note however that this is not a huge stockpot. I cook for one (with leftovers of course😋), sometimes two and this is perfect for that. It cleans up nicely too. I look forward to another 52 years cooking in enamelware. Okay, maybe not 52 years, but hopefully a long time!

Would NOT buy this again.
Not as big as I was thinking it would be and padma stick no matter what kind you cook or how you cook it. Won't return it as it's beyond the return window (we don't eat pasta as often as I thought) but definitely wouldn't buy it again

What I expected but had a couple of dents
Actually it had a couple of dents in the side and bottom, but it didn’t affect its operation. So it was I expected other than that.

Pricey but useful!
I had a Granite Ware Pasta Pot for years that finally got too thin on the bottom and needed replaced. Like everything now a days, it was pricey, but we used our old one a lot and wanted another. It's great for steaming too (corn on the cob, etc.). I hope this one lasts as long!
