This series of 3 books on diagramming sentences is amazing! I am blown away by the analysis and planning that must have gone into these books. Each section introduces one new aspect of grammar and the sequence of sections is ideal. On top of that, there is very little text-based explanation or instruction needed - the concepts are beautifully illustrated by a handful of diagrams of example sentences. Those sentences were selected to cover the scope of the concept being addressed. How many different ways might this particular grammatical concept be expressed? Finally, the books are full of great exercises for your students. I highly recommend this series to anyone interested in sentence diagramming!

We home school, and this program is very good. Easy, clear, starts slowly, and pretty soon kids could diagram complex sentences. We used 3 books in one year. Very happy with results. I think these books can be used as supplement, or to freshen up one's knowledge.

This book is fantastic! My children are in Classical Conversations, and we extensively diagram sentences every week. This book has been exceptional at Clearly detailing parts of speech & exactly how to diagram them. My children can work the pages & then I can check them & myself with the answer sheet in the back of the book. It has been a great resource for us to get extra practice & continue to clearly see how/where/why a sentence is diagramed. I am so glad I found this book. This book is very helpful for grammar studies. Since my homeschooled child approached this book with a prior strong knowledge of grammar, it was fairly easy for him to diagram sentences. Someone with little diagramming background may struggle with this strong book. There are answers in the back and I found them helpful when checking my son's work. Overall, I find this book as an effective and quick substitute for the longer classical diagramming programs. It's short; it's to the point; it gets the job done. I am very happy with the purchase.

Bought this for my 17 yr to review as part of her Language Arts homeschool curriculum. She finds it interesting and helpful. Had it about a month and she has completed about half the book. It gives good detailed instructions and examples to follow. Will definitely purchase another for my middle schooler, when he's ready for it.
