The light is great - much better than the LEDs I had in the plate light before - the camera quality is better than the other "universal" under 25$ cameras I have bought.If you are having trouble installing this - buy a pack of cheapo LEDs that fit the socket - I do not recall the type at the moment - easy find here on amazon. When you get the bulbs - pull one of the cheapo LED bulbs out of the socket - You now have yourself a perfect base to make an adapter for your license plate light wiring.As the wires are dinky - as several people pointed out - it helps significantly if you have a soldering iron and some solid core "hook up wire." You cut about an inch or so of the solid core hook up wire and tin it. If your wire for your lights isnt stripped - do so - a little more than you might think youd need - the twist it tight and tin those. Wrap the tinned dinky light wire around the solid core hook up wire you tinned - and solder them together. You can also heat shrink them at this point - but if you dont have heat shrink you can vinyl tape up anything exposed. Push the now rigid solid core wire through the holes of the scavenged LED bulb base/socket and bend them over. There you go - you now have a working plate light without modifying your existing wiring harness. If you plug it in and its not working - try turning it around. If it doesnt work again - make sure you have enough of the hook up wire through the holes to make good contact with the factory socket - some times you may have to adjust the factory contact pins - pushing them towards the center as they become compressed from years of having a bulb jammed in there.Camera power and video signal are more straight forward - but require removing lots of trim panels and - in my case - drilling holes in the trunk hinge arms to mimic the factory mounting position of the lighting harness on the opposite hinge arm. I loomed mine and bought some "fir tree" zip ties - these are factory style zip ties that can be mounted in holes and give the install a cleaner look.Hope that can help someone out there having issues with the tiny wires that are on the light side of things.

Image quality is actually good in daylight, especially considering i have it displaying on a navigation screen from a 2007 Accord.Be aware: I was realistically expecting lower quality at night, but not this bad. it is basically useless at night.Fitment was sloppy, but it does fit. It is missing the foam gasket material to ensure a tight weatherproof fit. I had some on hand, so I was able to make it work so it didn't rattle.Installation was easy and straight forward.The only reason I am keeping this product is because I installed it on my mom's car, and she no longer drives at night.

This is not plug and play but that doesn’t bother me. It didn’t fit great and like other say it shows part of the trunk lid for 98-02 accords. The included tape did not hold up. I had to use 3M tape to get it to stick. Other wise the image quality has been good. Not a bad purchase overall.

Don't fit my Civic 9th gen. The camera angle is not able to view anything, and it's not adjustable and should be more extended. I assembled it the right way; it's upside down. I tried disabling the case and reversing it, but I was still not able to see anything from the view.

bought this to replace my oem backup camera on my 2009 honda pilot. works great, you need to pull just the camera apart and connect the wires to you oem harness(white one). see picture. screw bracket that came with the camera to the oem base to stay in place. all color wires connected to their same color. except the small red connects to the smal white wire. the tan wire don’t use just black tape it.

Great camera for the 2003-2005 Honda Accord lx. The previous camera I had focused more on the ground and probably was made more for the 2006-2007 Honda Accord. This camera might need a little adjustment because the trunk lid still covers some of your view finder through the camera. I used dum dum tape and kinda pulled the camera down some that way it's not as much covered but still kinda covered. Couldn't be happier
