FINALLY! The PERFECT Water Bottle!
UPDATE: I still love this water bottle and think it is the best one out there. I have had two of these for a year and half now and dropped them repeatedly (by accident) on the paved patio outside my house this summer while doing projects. I thought for sure that the plastic top would be shattered, but~ nope! So, they are shockingly durable. On both water bottles the inside 'automatic' latch on the flip top no longer stays closed, so the flip top can open on it's own, causing major spillage. This happened after dropping one on the pavement and I think the other one just wore out. However, I can still use the locking mechanism on the outside to keep the flip top closed when it's in my purse, etc. So, there is a built in back-up for this problem. The other thing that has worn out over time is the 'flip' spring. It no longer springs all the way open when I push the button. It does unlatch, but then I have to manually flip it open with my thumb, no big deal. Both of them also started to leak, but there is a perfectly good explanation for this that may apply to others that are saying theirs leak. As long as all 3 of the silicone gaskets are intact, it will not leak at all. On both of my water bottles, the tiny silicone gasket in the flip top lid that plugs the 'air' inlet hole is missing. I think they came off in the dishwasher. Before they went missing, there was zero leakage. You also have to be sure the 'ring' gasket in the screw-on part of the lid is not tweaked. Mine did that once and it was leaking until I put it back into it's slot.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Finally! All the best features in ONE water bottle! I am addicted to water. If I had to choose between taking my water bottle to town or my cell phone, I'd choose my water bottle. For years I have had to drink a lot of water due to a health condition, so I have tried many water bottles over the years. What I love: The mouthpiece/drinking hole is small and comfortable. I keep my water by my bed at night and frequently drink in the dark. There is no need to even be able to see it and still drink without spilling. Because the mouthpiece is shaped up like a tube, I can find it easily, and it's not so large I spill it down the front of me.With the push of a button, the top springs right open! It easily clicks back into place, all one handed. There is no 'plastic straw' drinking apperratis to grow bacteria or mold that you have to buy special tools to fit into just to clean. I hate the ones with the straw that go down into the bottle as well.It is really lightweight, unlike the glass bottles. There is zero bad taste or smell. It does NOT leak! One of the first that I have not had a single drop spill or drip 'sweat'.The bottle does NOT sweat and keeps drinks really cold for a really, really long time. Like all day long in a *hot* car on a 90 degree day. . Water from the refridgerator put into it in the morning still felt like it had just come out of the fridge. No ice was added, just the cold water and it stayed the same temperature for hours. It's a nice size and shape. It fits into the average cup holder perfectly.I plan on buying another one. I love these!

Full-price review
RANT: I think any disclaimer should have to be at the TOP of your review, so I can quit reading all those unbiased reviews that got the item for free or discounted. I am only interested in your review if you plunked down your hard-earned money. For those who write these reviews, I disagree with your choice to shill products for others for so little in return. I'm still waiting to see something lower than a 4-star review from you all (I think I saw a 3 once.) Let's be honest, a discount colors our review in at least a moderately favorable way - we think kindly of anyone who gives us something for free/discount and generally have lower expectations of that product. This free/discount strategy is a way for sellers to build a quick stable of good reviews, and thereby attract more customers (or suckers, in the case of inferior products.) This strategy undermines the strength and credibility of the Amazon review system, and I detest it. I hope Amazon has the balls to get rid of this disclaimer stuff someday.REVIEW:I paid full price for this item. My fiance has had this water bottle for almost a year and loves it. No metallic taste (plan to soak it for a day before you use it; instructions are imcluded.) Masculine-looking design. Fits most car cup holders and bike bottle racks. Big plus is wide-mouth design. Many water bottles have a narrow mouth and won't accommodate larger ice well (or at all.) This does have a plastic cap, but it's BPA-free. He still tells me how much he likes it a year later.

Rusting Issue Within a Month of Use
The inside bottom of the bottle has started to rust along with the outer rim of the bottle. Since this is a water bottle, it should not be rusting let alone within a month of purchasing. It has been 3 weeks of use and rust has already begun. Very disappointed since I actually really like the bottle and wish I could continue to use it.Besides the rust issue, the bottle is very well made between the design and the double walled insulation, which keeps whatever liquid inside of it very cold for long periods of time. The lid could be sturdier like the previous plastic Embrava bottle lid - which closed more securely. However, that is not a big issue since overall the bottle is better than the previous one, besides the rusting of course.

Nice Bottle - Plastic Clip Quickly Fails!
It does, as it says on the box, keep things cold. But the latch for the top was designed by some fiend who had more time on their hands and no clue what they were doing. I am not a hard user of this bottle, but here, 4 months after purchase, the clip that holds the lid closed is broken (piece of plastic broke). So now it doesn't close - which makes it less useful as a travelling water bottle. It's a shame, it's a great water bottle with a fatal flaw.......*** UPDATE ***After writing this review I went to the vendor's web site because I thought I'd just buy a new lid. The web doesn't show them for sale so I sent an e-mail to their customer support. They confirmed that they do not sell just the lids, but they offered to send me a replacement bottle for free.So I have to say KUDOS to their support team. I'm enjoying my new bottle, cold liquids and so far a working lid. I'll be more careful this time and see if I can keep the lid whole!
