At the time of ordering, it was not exactly clear that this wired headset didn’t come with all the “wires”. As it turns out, to actually connect to a USB port, you will need another fairly expensive Plantronics component. When you have everything together, they work very well and are comfortable.

I rated headset a bit higher yesterday based on comfort. I found there is one thing missing compared to my previous headset. This one does not have hearing protection, whereby there is a maximum decibel output to protect my ears. My previous (other manufacturer) headset had such protection.

This item does not come with the USB connection. You have to buy that separately. Headset is on point because I've used it in a work setting before but would have been nice to know I needed to purchase the adapter.

Been using this headset about 6 weeks, has worked great! NOTE - IT IS NOT A STANDALONE HEADSET! YOU NEED A D80 ADAPTER to plug it into & then plug that into a PC’s USB port. The boom is extendable and rotatable, so you can wear it to the left or right, and position it any way you like. The mic is quite sensitive & pics up voice great, yet the noise cancellation is the best I’ve ever experienced. I have had music playing on a Bluetooth speaker about 2ft from me - quietly, but I could hear it & I am a little hard of hearing. It could not be heard on a mic test I did. I also tried making little whistle/rustle noises through my teeth, some light lip smacking, some hard breathing, some paper rustling, finger snapping, and other noises that other mics would pick up - none of it registered on the mic via Zoom or Teams. Neighbor’s dog barking, lawn mowers, hammering construction crews up the street… none of it came through the mic. The first D80 connector I had did not function properly. It would not mute, answer calls, etc. it allowed me to talk & hear, but all other controls had to be activated on the screen. The replacement allows full functionality of the headset & has been working well — but that is really about that separate product, not this one. Still, you need it to use this, so wanted to give a full description of the overall product experience. The ear cushions get a little damp/slimy feeling since they are leatherette type material, but I chose that over foam coverings, because at least I can wipe down the smooth finish of these & clean them easier. Also not scratchy as foam can be to those of us with sensory issues. I wear them almost all day, rarely a break, so if you don’t have to do that probably wouldn’t be an issue. I like these so much I’m considering buying a second set for the office. Just have to lock them up at night!
