Reliability?
Installed this today on 4000W generator. Pretty straight forward. Wired to 12V DC outlet. Fired it up. Ran for a while and meter clicked to 0.1 hr. Sweet. Ran some more and meter read 8.8.8.8.8. Shut off and restarted unit. Display went back to 0.1 hr. Ran another 20 minutes and shut down. Display read 0.3 hr. Ok, I guess. Will see how it goes from here. Hoping it was just a fluke. A little concerned about reliability.

Good for the price.
It was a very affordable hour meter and pretty easy to install. I connected it to the volt meter. We had a day of really choppy water and it was occasionally flashing 8s. But it only happened the one time for a few minutes.

Do not waste your money.
Piece of junk! The description claims that the meter cannot be reset, however the one I purchased resets itself to zero every time I shut the boat off. I have only had it installed and run for roughly 4 hours. Turn off the key, and back on, shows 0.0 hrs again. My return window has expired otherwise I would return it.

Nice Meter
Looks great with the gauges in the boat, the only issue I noticed is that it is hard to see the display from any angle besides straight on.
