super easy to set up supports my 17" monster laptop without issues (other than the laptop's poorly designed Ethernet port, but that's not the fault of the laptop stand/mount)

So I have a laptop that I connect to 2 monitors. I only turn my system on from the laptop and needed something to store my laptop on out of the way. So I have a tower that holds one monitor and I added this holder to the top of it. So my laptop stays out of the way and off of my desk. It is a must have for work from home people. If it broke I would buy another. It is easy to install and very sturdy.....

If you have a dual monitor arm or a spare one laying around now you can use it for your laptop or tablet to draw and things. If I didn’t have a PC I would have use it for a laptop main and a monitor for a secondary screen.

The bracket mounts easily with self tapping screws. The feet at the bottom stop the device from falling down. The distance between the feet is about 9 inches, so some extension might be needed for narrower devices. I use it for music so any device will be used in portait orientation. The opening between the support feet is needed for access to ports on the side of the device. An enhancement might be a sliding middle foot that could be positioned in between.

Swapping laptops or just setting and removing a laptop from the clamps is a bit inconvenient. Otherwise - fits perfectly.

This laptop VESA mount tray works with laptops of various sizes. I used it with a 15 inch Dynabook and it holds very well. It is easy to assemble. The adjustable holders on each side are plastic but do provide a strong hold of the laptop. The only issue that I have is with the VESA pattern. The pattern forced me to use an X style VESA bracket that results in the top legs of the X to protrude upward. It only uses half of the VESA holes. If the VESA holes were inverted, then there would be no protrusion.

I've purchased a number of very similar ones from Monoprice. The Monoprice product is cheaper if you get free shipping or buy in bulk, but I've been less-than-impressed with how the screws fit into the screwholes on their laptop bases. I just needed one this time, so went with this one, which was comparable after Monoprice shipping and would get here faster with Prime. Easy to install, with screws that went in cleanly. Everything feels high-quality. No complaints!

Unless you want to use the keyboard on your laptop, a desk mount just isn't a good use of your desk space. By mounting my laptop using the monitor mount, you just end up with more use-able desk space. It allows for multiple configrations, one which the laptop's screen and keyboard could be opened up to a 150-ish degree angle. This is nice to help prevent dust from settling on the keyboard. Unless you have an extremely rigid vesa monitor arm, I do not recommend using this to type on your keyboard though. It's just not stable enough to use without wobble.

Deberían de describir con más detalle qué es lo que estamos solicitando al comprar este producto. En la foto aparece el soporte completo, incluyendo la charola para la laptop. En ninguna parte se indica que sólo es la charola. Para no estar con dudas, por favor aclaren esto. De igual forma, sería bueno que indicaran con qué soportes es compatible.

GANCIO DIFETTOSO Il gancio sinistro del mio modello era difettoso, e non si agganciava alla base. Ho però risolto facilmente, agganciandolo con due fascette, come si vede nelle foto. Fra l'altro, mi piace di più il sistema di aggancio con le fascette, che permette al blocco di muoversi più facilmente. DUTTILE, UTILIZZABILE PER SOSTENERE UN PC O UN MONITOR, O UN TABLET Ho usato questo supporto per sfruttare il braccio con aggancio VESA sia con il macbook, ma anche con un monitor esterno che era senza aggancio VESA. L'ho usato anche abbastanza bene per tenere il posizione il mio tablet. Il punto è che non si trovano facilmente supporti per tablet più grandi di 12 pollici, o monitor esterni da 15, o 17 pollici. Con questo adattatore si risolve. Chiaro che i due ganci laterali non sono così comodi, perché vanno spostati per inserire o togliere il tablet o monitor, però funziona.

Proprio come me lo aspettavo. Grande, solido, rifinito e ben fatto. Insomma...nulla da eccepire. Acquisto eccellente con servizio prime eccellente. Grazie Amazon
