Man-nen Tin Hot-water Bottle(japan import)

I thought it was a bit of a 'folly' to pay nearly £50 for a hot water bottle ! I was wrong - after buying two, I got another two more for family ! The difference is its ability in heat transfer via convection. It is made of galvanised steel, solidly built and is so toasty when I hug it in a chilly room. Great quality and hopefully will last me for years. It will pay for itself quickly from the electricity saved.You will NEED a fleece/wool cover over it as the metal is too hot to touch.

Took me a while to get it as Amazon sent it to the wrong house and my neighbour wasn't sure if it was for me but that's not the manufacturers fault at all.This thing stays hot forever and it's absolutely brilliant. My boyfriend has ice block feet and we are both anemic with bad circulation, but I never have to worry about a freezing foot scaring me in the middle of the night again.

Be Really pleased with this! Keep warm for a long time, but a cover is definitely needed as the metal gets very hot

I bought them for my children to use, as I was concerned that rubber bottles might leak. My children were initially sceptical but are now converts. The bottles stay hot all night and keep them warm.It's saving me money on my gas bill, but the children want to use the bottles even when it's not very cold, so my electricity bill might have gone up.

Holds a huge amount of water and stays hot for a very long time. I bought this to put in a rabbit hutch as it's chew-proof, and I put my own fleece cover over it.

Once filled with boiling water and covered to stop being burned, heats the whole bed. Heat lasts all night… plus our cats love it too. Highly recommend. Can’t imagine life without it in our old, cold house.

I have one of these that I've used for a year now, this recent purchase was one for my brother who gets cold easily (I've also enjoyed mine so much that two sisters and my mom all bought one). I like the quality, metal build...no leaks, no rubber splitting issues, etc. I personally have a 1.7L electric kettle that I use to heat the water, using a silicon funnel to pour water into the bottle, which gives the right amount to last all night and into the morning nicely. I then use the funnel and pour the water back into the kettle for reheating the next night to conserve water (every so often I dump the water on my plants, so nothing wasted). Mine came with a cover, but the one I got my brother did not, so I made a drawstring bag out of a felted wool sweater...you need something to protect your feet from direct contact because the metal does heat up with hot water inside. Yes, the first time there is a smell, but when you put the lid on you can't smell it...this is just the factory coating. I just dumped this water down the drain the next morning (wasn't sure what it was so I didn't want to put it on a plant) and used fresh water the next time, no problems. This little bottle lets me keep the heat lower at night which helps with electricity costs plus a more comfortable sleep...and it is luxurious to have a warmer for your feet on cold nights. If you have camp stove or wood stove you can even use this with out power, so not a bad thing to have on hand these days!

This is basically an indestructible hot water bottle. It needs a fuzzy cover that does not come with it to keep from burning yourself on the hot metal but with a cover it is perfect for cold feet in bed. I bought it because I had one too many rubber hot water bottles leak in my bed and now I never have to worry about that again.

Essendo di metallo trasmette il calore in modo molto efficace.Occorre una custodia spessa per maneggiarlo senza ustionarsi se si scalda molto l'acqua. A distanza di due inverni, usate giornalmente. cadute 3 volte dal letto, senza danni. Si può scaldare l’acqua mettendole sopra la piastra da induzione e aprendo il tappo (altrimenti si crea pressione!): così non si spreca acqua e si fa prima. Sempre più contenti.

My mcgloins hot water bottle better and lasts longer in warmth. I paid $100 for this . Rip off. Needs some insulation to make it worth while.
