I wanted to get a knife like this for a while and I finally pulled the trigger on getting this, and I couldn't be happier with it.To begin with, this is real damascus made with 1095 and 15n20 steels as most of these Pakistan-made damascus knives. A lot of people don't understand that acid etching is different from laser etching, where one is to allow real damascus to show it's pattern while the other is 'fake damascus', but I'll reiterate that this is actual damascus.It's full tang with brass fittings and wooden grip scales, and while the edge isn't very sharp out of the box, the blade is straight and the overall fit and finish is excellent. A lot of people complained about the sheath that it comes with, but I think it's fine, as when sheathed the back half of the handle is sticking out in such a way that it's easy to draw, and the leatherwork and stitching is reasonably nice.Overall, this is a nice piece for the price, and once you sharpen it up it will be great for whatever you need a small pointy fixed-blade knife for.

There’s aspects that are good quality, like the material of the knife, the handle design and the included leather sheath. however, when it came, the knife was dull like a butter knife, and the handle was delaminating and separating. If it was a matter of sharpening, I would have kept it, but the handle falling apart forced a return.

This knife is quite elegant. While I have doubts as to whether it is real Damascus steel or merely etched, there is no question that the knife is well constructed, keeps a good edge, and shows excellent workmanship. I use it as a letter opener.

Nice but not for $44 maybe $25 , nice sheath, but is only for a letter opener no more, too small

Seems like real pattern Damascus, but I'm no expert by far. I sharpened it, and can still see patterns in bevel grind. I love the knife and the case for the money. Was worth it for me as a first try at purchasing Damascus. I'm sure I'll buy others.

The knife itself is phenomenal and beautiful beyond words. While the sheath is pretty, it's worthless for this knife as they are OBVIOUSLY not a match - the entire knife disappears into the sheath, handle and all!I display the knife and threw the sheath in a drawer.
