I bought the purple slub effect taffeta. The colour is very different from advertised, but very beautiful, more like a shot blue-violet. It looks like slub silk, not too shiny, and has a slight firmness to it so I don’t anticipate it being difficult to sew. I removed a star because of the colour discrepancy, but other than that I think this is great value and a lovely fabric.

Lovely fabric, used to make my wedding dress.

Ordered two batces of this material, the first was as the photo suggested and is beautiful, however when i re-ordered the material i recieved is completely different. not the same quality, not the same colour and no where near as nice. As this was to be placed under the centre pieces in our wedding reception we were very disappointed & have now decided not to use the fabric at all.

this fabric is beautiful, I got it to reupholster my daughters headboards and wanted something delicate and pretty and this is of such an excellent quality I cannot say more about it. I even had enough left over to attempt to make a princess dress or two!

The fabric was not real taffeta but lining material. Very disappointed.
