Richard Scarry's must buy for kids
There is so much going on in this book that no matter how many times we read it to my son, he never gets tired of it. The size of this book is humongous and the story is catchy. Each frame has loads and loads of items in it which makes looking at each frame time consuming and lots of fun. There is small mini game "search the goldbug" on each frame which is fun. You can just look at the detailed pictures of each frame and enjoy this book. The story is definitely an extra.

Such a fun book for kids who love anything cars
This book is a treat to curious and imaginative kids who are into cars. The author has put so much effort into the contents, you'll never get bored. My nephew really loved this book, knows by heart the names of all the cars in this. Might give a few giggles at some names, like the sailing dinghy and pickle truck. One thing though is, the terms are heavily in American English, which might initially be difficult to follow up.

My son is 3 year, 3 weeks old, and since some of his books were already kind of easy for him, I looked up for good books for three year old boys. I found this in the recommendation and I immediately went bananas. It turns out I had this book when I was a kid and I remembered it fondly but my parents didn't and I had never been able to find it again. Having so nice memories from this book and having a kid who loves cars, trucks and similar, I naturally bought it. When I received it, I decided to read it before my boy so I would know all the twist and turns and tricks beforehand. I must confess I felt overwhelmed. It has too many pages and too many drawings comparing to what we had been reading and I totally thought it would be too much for my kid. It turns out he does not only reads it all, he reads it three times on a row, he gets all the sub plots and finds the golden bug every time (it's very small). We have been reading it daily for the last two weeks and he just doesn't get tired of it, he discovers new things every time and when we go outside he's always contrasting what he sees with the book.

My son's ever growing toy collection seems to suggest that he loves anything that goes. He has tons of trains, trucks, cars, planes, fire trucks, boats, you name it and it goes and I am sure that we have it. This book was perfect in that it really explores just about everything that goes and as with other Richard Scarry books, is quite well illustrated with quite a bit of detail all over each page. My son loves turning each page and looking at the detail and provides quite alot of entertainment as we flip through each page and point out all of the "Things that go". This is a great add-on to my son's children's library and one that will be a favorite.
