I use smoke paprika for many dishes. I hate it when you go the grocery store and find they have none and then you find that several other grocery stores don’t have it either. It's usually a supply chain problem and the stores eventually get it back in stock. This time I went online and found that Amazon had several options. McCormick is a trusted brand so I ordered a large 17oz. container. I pored some on a napkin along with my previous brand to compare color and smell. The colors were different but the smell and taste was so close that it didn’t matter. Some smoked paprika has different chili powder mixes which will affect color (darker red / lighter red). Bottom line: Great taste and great value!

Smoked paprika is the way to go. We use this stuff on just about everything. Highly recommend.

I buy all my spices on Amazon now. I cook enough I need large batches. Having plenty in supply and not running out is a life saver for a meal. The prices is always better than my local stores. This has excellent aroma and flavor. Very pleased. It's a McCormick product, they're spices are very consistent.
