Q: Is it translucent or pretty much the same as the Tyvek brand? Is there a certain side you need to install it? I dont want the printing to show

This product is NOT like Tyvek. They punch small holes into wrap in order to make it "breathe" but those same holes allow bulk water to pass to the other side which is what you don't want. Tyvek does not allow bulk water to get by and has a perm rating 5 times higher than needle punched products like this. Q: Can you see the printing if I install it backwards? I want to show it as plain white for decorative purpose

The flip side shows the printing pretty lite. From a distance it might look alright but up close it would clear that it is printed on the other side. This wrap is not like tyvek. It is more like the blue tarps. it will seperate into ribbons if abused enough.

Q: I attach foam board to the outside of my house - would this product help keep heat in my sealed crawl space if I put it under foam board?
