I've had a RH toaster for about 25 years. It's been great but recently the defrost function has not been working as well. That's why I decided to finally get a newer version. This items works fine but it has one big flaw (in my opinion) or difference with my previous model which is that the slot for the bread is much narrower and the sliced bread I like doesn't fit. It's a big problem and I've had to get my old one back out. I'm sure it's fine if people use squarish sliced bread but I wanted to warn of this.

The toaster is well designed and attractive. It delivers a good even toast and the lift-up mechanism during toasting is a bonus. Other reviewers have mentioned the slot size. Width of bread is great and will easily take half a bagel. However, the length and height are on the small size.
