I replaced an earlier Hamilton Beach crock pot with this one. Never mind that the Hamilton Beach has a locking top. It simply didn't do the job. Uneven heating? Lighter weight pot? Who knows what the problem was. The Crock pot model is heavy duty and built for cooking. I had an earlier yet crock pot which was great except the handles fell apart. The handles on my new model are a different design and look more durable. I shouldn't have paused at the Hamilton Beach way station, I guess. Live and learn.

The media could not be loaded. Love this!Had to upgrade after ours finally went out after 8 years! Works like a champ! Heats good! And cooks well! Affordable and gets the job done😊

Very good crock pot and does what it is supposed to do. I picked it for the cord storage but missed that the lid doesn't lock down for portability. Handles get hot and just a small area to protect the hand. Use potholder.

Looks like something that should cost way more, worked great right out of the box! Did not have any problems as other reviewers did. Super easy to use., you don't really even need an instruction manual.

Awesome replacement for our very wore out crock pot that we have had for many years. Our old one started to shut off randomly, so we never knew how long it was off but with this new one we no longer have to worry about that issue. Now we can cook again without worry that it will shut off randomly.

We have been using the Crock Pot brand slow cooker for over 20 years. They used to last a long time. We purchased this one (Crock-Pot 7 Quart Programmable Slow Cooker with Digital Timer, Food Warmer, Polished Platinum) and it only lasted 18 months with only using 1-2 days per month. Appliances should last longer than this. We had reasonable expectations but ended up being extremely disappointed. This was a waste of money and totally unacceptable!
