Excellent product
Fixed a hot start problem on my 2007 Corvette ZO6. Car used to give me problems starting it when it was hot. I changed the starter and the problem went away!! No more hot start anxiety!

Doesn’t work! Do not waste time and money
It was written that the box was open but in working condition. I received it, gave it to the service for installation and it turned out that the starter was not working!! I just lost money and time!

Fixed my 2008 corvette!
Got my car running again after tracking down a no start issue. I installed this on my 2008 corvette and I did not have to remove the exhaust to get the starter out. Took about an hour to install.

Correct replacement for C6Z
Works as intended. Reasonably easy swap - took me maybe 90 minutes total. you'll likely need to loosen (not fully remove) the passenger exhaust manifold bolts to allow the pipe to move the half inch I needed for it to clean. Getting the old one out was more difficult than getting the new one in. Pro tip: when installing the new one, remove the plastic shroud (on later models they switched to metal) that sits between the starter and the block. It's a single screw. Put the plastic piece around the starter where it's supposed to go and then put both things back up together. I couldn't get the starter to physically fit without doing that. The angle I had to work with wouldn't let it fit in the small hole in the plastic piece. Removing that gave me a ton of room and it was done in 30 sec.

Scrunchy!
PITA to install but resolved my issue. This was the 3rd and final piece of the puzzle. 10 year old corvette GS with 59000 and all original parts. One day, " service charging system " lights up my dash. Watched my volts literally drop from 14.4 down to 8 and the LS3 simply shut off. Replaced the battery and the alternator first. As a matter of precaution, did the starter too. Got my 14.4V back, and this starter has almost no delay. Its fast. No more symptoms. Still seeing " service charging system " but I think I need someone to clear out my codes.

Exact replacement
Very easy to install on my 2009 Corvette. Didn't have to remove any thing but the negative cable on the battery and the old starter. The new starter bolted right up without any issues. Works perfectly.
