My beloved gifted me a new personal trimmer for Valentine's Day (was my request, you filthy animals!) based on my suggestions, driven by reviews and mainly marketing. I immediately returned the newest "manscaping" gizmo that was much better at marketing than working.The Philips Norelco Series 7K is a fantastic, versatile grooming tool that shows a LOT of thought went into it. Only down-side I can list is I wish it was Qi charging capable so it integrated with my shaver on the counter, but the battery is astounding so absolutely not a deal breaker by any means.Using it in delicate applications with the foil side, including arm pits, works fantastically with no irritation. If you adventure to southern regions, it again is fantastically gentle and effective.I really like the trimmer on the other side, especially since the (very effective) adjustable guard can be fully removed. Since I sport a flat-top haircut, this is great for touch-ups and shaping and the integrated and adjustable guard provides a lot of flexibility for various applications. Another use that I didn't initially expect is the foil side head also provides excellent fine-tuning and shaping of a flat-top. I have used a dedicated Bruan foil shaver for this previously, but the 7K actually is much better for this. I assume it is because of larger foil openings, slower motor speed, and different edge trimmer design. I can report it works very well and will likely retire the Bruan. Of note, the foil side is NOT intended for face shaving for the reasons I listed as a pro for hair trimming...Very pleased and thankful to find something that works exceptionally well instead of an over-hyped "lawnmower". Don't fall for the BS, this thing is the best option out there...

I love love love this razor. I bought one for my son who was learning... And then I bought a second one for myself- and yes, I'm a woman! He has had his for over a year and it's still going strong! It works exactly as described. I love the dual functionality. The battery life is long. It's great for trips. I would never use it in the shower- as wet doesn't help with this kind of shaving! But it's the all-in-one that I find useful with my shaving. I highly recommend.

It's been 6 years since I purchased this and just realized that I never reviewed it. After reading an article on line that rated the top 10 "Manscapers", I decided I needed to put in my 2 cents worth. BTW, it's still working great!Women prefer a little "manscaping" even if they don't tell you. This is the first razor or shaver that I have ever used that didn't either pinch, draw blood or leave a razor burn. I can use this shaver without fear of accidental castration. One end has the razor for closeness with a pretrimmer that will cut any longer hairs before they get to the razor. It works great. The other end has a trimmer with an adjustable guard for areas that you might want to leave with a little bit of length, up to about 1/2" in length. They say it can be used wet-or-dry, but I haven't tried it wet and probably won't.In my opinion, women would also like this for use on their "bikini area". I know, it doesn't come in pink or pastel colors, but, its a great razor that you can use on those intimate areas without fear, whether you're a man or a woman. This razor is so fearless, you could allow your significant other to use it on you, or you could use it on them. No fear.

Normally I do not write reviews but I thought this one deserves it. Great product. I’m a guy that’s been manscaping for years and this is the best trimmer/shaver I’ve bought so far. Smooth shaving on arms, pits, and down there, if you know what I mean. I actually did try it. Awesome product. I recommended.
