The piece itself feels sturdy and I’m not worried about it falling out. I bought 1.5 mm 18G (1.0 mm) * 8mm for my nose and it was too big. I also think these are made for ears because while it’s doable, it is difficult to put this type of flat back piece into a nose. The secret I found was to insert the back piece into your nose and feel around for the hole/what feels right. When I was trying to look and place the jewelry into the hole I was getting frustrated, but when I stopped looking in a mirror and just felt for the hole it worked much easier. I do like how small the jewel is, perfect for a nose but the stud part is too long. Will be ordering a smaller one.
