I wanted to make banunchucks (banana nunchucks) for my boyfriend for a long-running joke, and these plus some plastic barrier chain worked great. They're not hollow plastic, more of a foam inside - you can kind of see it in the photo with the hole drilled in one. They look pretty real, although the brown part at the end of each one was not in the right place on a couple of them. Not enough of a problem to take away a star IMO.The finished product looks good and is lightweight enough that I'm not worried he'll accidentally injure himself. He loved them. As a bonus, I have 2 bananas left over to use in "banana for scale" photos.

These are plastic bananas. Bought them as a gag gift for a coworker who is allergic to the real thing. They look real.
