Iron pills generally hurt my stomach, no matter if I take them with food or not. I found Liquid Iron many years ago when CVS and stores like that carried it. Then out of no where they stopped and I have searched on and off when I needed to start taking Iron again. This is the only place I have been able to find it and it helps a lot. I have had 6 blood transfusion over 14 years and this has been the best for me to keep my iron up when it drops. I poor about I guess a shot worth of Orange Juice into a cup then poor the packet into the juice and mix. Taking it with orange juice helps absorb the iron better and helps taste. It doesn’t taste horrible but it has a metal taste as all iron does. I generally have another drink to chase it down with. I would recommend this to anyone. I have tried other iron pills that are supposed to be gentle on the stomach and aren’t. This is the only way I can get it in and my Dr understand and approves of me taking it. If you have your own iron issues talk to your Dr.

I often have low iron, and I also deal with restless leg syndrome, which is associated with low iron. Back when I was pregnant and regular iron supplements could not get my levels back up to normal, my doctor recommended liquid iron like this, saying I would absorb it much easier. It did the trick, and continues to be the only way I seem to be able to really absorb iron well. I don't notice constipation or any stomach issues using this. It does of course taste like metal water, but I just pour it into a glass of water with an Emergen-C packet and can barely taste it in that. Something to note is that calcium can prevent iron absorption, so try to take your iron supplement on an empty stomach and time it so you're not eating any dairy or calcium rich food within the same timeframe in order to better your chances for absorption.

This order came with 4 boxes that have 28 shots in each one.I was told about this product many years ago and have been using it since.I add the packet to a little bit of a juice as vitamin c helps with absorption.Keeps my iron where it needs to be and have a good amount of energy as a result.

Ordered by my physician for anemia. According to report when I checked tracking on Saturday, 2/26/2022, delivery was to be Sunday 2/27/22, they said at 10 P.M.! Delivery came on Sunday, 2/27/22 a6 11:05 a.m. but the driver never rang my doorbell!!! Boy did that upset me! I happened to check tracking on my computer at 1 PM and they said it was delivered at 11:05 a.m.!!! Message went into my junk mail! I took one dose immediately at 1:10 P.M. The second dose I took Monday morning, 2/28/2022 at 5:15 a.m. I can already feel the difference. I have to take this for at least 2 to 3 months to see if it helps.

Absorbancy and safety is better than pills.

Ive been using this for a while and I find its much better in absorption and ability to digest it. Highly recommend it.

As a vegetarian female, I struggle with low iron and can definitely feel the effects of the deficiency when trying to make it through the day. A doctor recommended this brand to me and I’ve been using it for years. When I run out, I use regular iron pills, and they definitely seem harder on my stomach and with a less immediate effect of reducing lightheadedness and fatigue. Though the flavor isn’t what you’d eat as candy, it can be masked with juice and is not even a factor in my mind in light of the benefits of this product. I have never had any negative effects from taking this product, only positives.

I've been taking Spatone for years! I was prescribed Iron pills from my doctor for my anemia. I could never tolerate the pills d/t feeling nauseous and stomach upset. Spatone is the only Iron supplement I can take without any side effects. I finally don't feel fatigue like I use to and can enjoy life again. I highly recommend Spatone. It truly worked for me.
