defiantly will order again, absolute quality item
wow used these for fixing the spars of my new pergola, so strong and easy to use, no pre drilling require, also used for firing 150x75mm timber wall. these screws are so sharp and just grip immediately, you see them pull the timber toheatehr and they aint ever coming apart. great thing os that functionality the great idea is the hex head which makes the fit and fitting so strong and rigid.

easy to use
I recently used these TIMCO timber screws on a decking project, and I’m genuinely impressed. The hex head design made them incredibly easy to drive in, even through dense wood, with minimal effort. The exterior green coating is robust and perfect for outdoor use — great weather resistance and no signs of rusting. The thread provides a strong, secure hold, and the 125mm length is ideal for heavy-duty timber fixings. Overall, these are high-quality, reliable screws that saved me time and hassle. Highly recommended!

Screws that work.
Excellent these screws are so good and hold very well but you do need an impact driver.

Brilliant product
I would highly recommend that you buy this product for your sleeper project. I have completed a rejigging of some of my sleeper border that I installed 2 years ago using the same screws that I have just purchased. To say they have been outside for 2 years they looked like new when I removed them from the sleepers. The screws are well made and very strong. They will not bend or corrode. They drive in quickly using my impact driver. Mentioning my impact driver. You must invest in one if you do not already own one. The box does not contain an 8mm socket so you will need to buy one for your driver. All in all an excellent product that I have re purchased and great value for money.

Hex nut, very useful indeed.
When they are in, great. I found that a full pre-drill was virtually necessary for every bolt to get them into both layers of garden sleepers. I used the 6M 20cm DeWalt MultiMaterial drill bit. I put a minimum of two bolts to every separate sleaper. The hex nut was certainly better for driving the bolt than the usual screw head type that I have used before, where I have stripped the head a few times, and had to hacksaw of the remaining head. Mind you, a professional electric drill might make all the difference to my cheap Chinese drill! I did see the screws sold individually in various wood yards, etc, but while I still have many left, it worked out much cheaper buying them by the box. So project dependent. Highly recommend.
