If you know this is what went on your veloster this is a great fit. Its not OEM but it matches up perfectly. Took less then 10 min to install. Looks like my problem is the switch.

Product works. Is not a genuine Hyundai part, but doesn’t claim to be. I installed this 3 months ago and haven’t had any problems with it. I rated the product 3 stars because of the price, you could buy an actual Hyundai part for not much more. I believe it might be a refurbished latch but doesn’t have any Hyundai logos or indicators that being said I would recommend this latch.

My 2013 veloster trunk button had stopped working so decided to swap the button and the latch just to be sure. Easy installment and probably could be done in 15-20 minutes and works just fine now. You will need to a special tool to remove the plastic interior to access the bolts to remove the old latch though.

The product was exactly as described & while it didn’t come with any instructions, my husband was able to find a how-to video & it took him only about 15 minutes to replace. Saved me probably $150 from having dealership do it. I’m completely satisfied.

I replaced the switch. .button....first..but the problem was the latch mechanism. .actually probably both....15min installed. .yea. ...2013 trubo be careful popping the back panel off...get as close as possible with a long flat screwdriver to the plastic connecters...break easy.
