The lantern is very attractive and just the amount of light I need near my outdoor shower. Initially the incorrect model was delivered but the seller was very efficient in getting me the right one (copper brown) and making sure it worked correctly. I'm impressed with their customer service and the 12-month warranty. The only downside for some might be that the light doesn't stay on as long as other solar lanterns I've had - but it's definitely long enough for my purposes.

I'd wanted a copper or bronze lantern to hang in our backyard, but this one is gold which is disappointing. I have a leftover can of Rust-Oleum Hammered Silver 7213 or I might buy the Copper to repaint it even though it's a hassle. Otherwise, the lantern arrived in good condition (no dents) and it's been working properly outdoors for two nights now. It's not very bright, but I expected that based on the 7 lumens. However, the lantern does cast a pretty shadow. My husband even commented that he likes it. If I had known that the product is gold rather than the advertised bronze / copper, I probably wouldn't have purchased it.

I planned to buy a series of lights to put on my deck. When I received the item the box was torn. It appeared used. When I took the item out of the box it was so top-heavy there was no way that this would withstand any kind of breeze without falling over. In addition the round bottom base was bent and so it was predispositioned to falling over. It wouldn’t stand up. It was odd looking because there was no candle or other light source within the lamp itself. The light came from the bottom of the or rather the underside of the top of the lantern. So it gave it a very peculiar appearance. The metal definitely looked more like plastic and the paint job was horrible.

I still love how pretty this lantern is with the ambient soft amber light for aesthetic and relaxing purposes. I put this up this Feb 2020 and by the end of May it was showing rust and now even more. I placed it hanging under the inner porch edge so it got some rain when the wind would blow onto the porch.If I buy again I will spray it with a metal weather proofing spray and I recommend make sure it is secure when hanging as this one got knocked once from the 7’ it hangs above the ground and took quite a large dent on one side.

Received my light today. I have not seen it lit with light so cannot comment on that. I will comment on the overall appearance. It is a nice size but the copper sides with the cut outs has a blackish line running through the center of each pattern piece. Not very attractive. I have decided to return the lantern because I just do not like the color appearance on the outside.

Very nice looking latern, could be brighter but the latern looks great. I have it hanging in a tree in my backyard with some other similar lanterns, they look great.

Beautiful when lit! I’m not crazy about the color during the day but when it’s night and they light up, they are gorgeous!! They aren’t meant for light, obviously but they are perfect accent decor!Edit: first bought these over two years ago and I still love them! I have bought quite a few more! I have a total of 15! They are so, so pretty! I actually like the color during the day now. I recommend these beauties!

Beautiful pattern at night. Still going strong after a year of hurricanes. Nice copper color. Tight seak from water.

They have a fake gold, two-tone paint finish that looks really cheap. The metal is very sharp. I returned them.
