Q: What is pump sprayer application rate for lawns? Label says 4oz per 1000 sqft, but also says 32 oz bottle covers 3,200 sqft. Doesn't add up.

Hi Andy, Yes with a pump up sprayer it will go longer than 3,200 square feet. With the hose end sprayer you use more volume because you wash the product into the root zone while it is connected to the hose. A pump up sprayer is foliar feeding and it goes much further. We apologize for the confusion with the directions. Use 4oz per 1000 sqft with a pump up sprayer. If it was used with a hose end connection sprayer then the dial should be set on 3 oz.

For an answer to that, you'll probably need to contact the maker. But, I can tell you that there are certain laws regarding how much of an element must be present before the maker is required to list it in the guaranteed analysis, so there could still be some, even though it's not in the analysis. Call the maker!

I bought this product because warm weather grasses require iron as a supplement. This product is 3.5% chelated iron as Fe. It also contains sulphur, zinc, magnesium, and manganese in various proportions.

Q: is a 10-20-20 a good fertilizer to use in late fall??

No. In late fall I find it usually necessary to replenish nutrients that have been removed from the soil by the growth of the plant and watering/rain. Some plants use more of one nutrient than another. Also, some plants are heavy feeders. Research what your plant feeds heaviest on and use a higher percentage of that ingredient plus the normal ingredients. In particular use a fertilizer that has a higher concentration of macronutrients.
