Is it possible to install a smoke alarm at the bathroom door?

I assume you mean the area outside of the bathroom. I wouldn’t as steam may trigger the alarm. It would of course depend on whether the bathroom fan would draw steam away from the siting of the fan. Try it! Its not like it’s hard wired apparatus and It’s only a couple of screw holes to repair if it becomes a nuisance and needs removing.

How about its detection sensitivity? Any false alarms?

This device is more accurate than other brands. An advanced photoelectric sensor and intelligent chipset allow for fast and accurate detection of smoldering fires, giving you an early warning of danger! False alarms are usually the result of improper installation and/or lack of device maintenance.

How long does the battery last?

I estimate it will last about ten years. My father bought this smoke alarm for our house 3 years ago. It still works great, just like when we first used it. Well worth it!
