look at all the images for this case! the first image is not 100% representative of the actual case. there is actually a cutout of the apple logo that lights up on the lid. also the color is a bit more baby pink than it appears in the images. finally the little pads on the bottom of the case (the white round things) are pretty cheap in quality. essentially these foamy pads that are glued to the bottom of the case.however, still a good and pretty looking case for the price. until speck comes out with a fuschia version for the macbook pro retina, this case will do.UPDATE: So after just 3 months of using this case, the corner of the case cracked and a piece of plastic fell off. Now there is a sharp tip there and I can no longer use the case and type on my computer at the same time! I didn't even put my computer through any banging. I noticed a small crack in that area a few weeks ago, and since then, the crack started to grow until that piece of the case fell off. I thought I'd save some money and buy a cheap case...and I guess I got what I paid for. I've been using a SPECK case on my old laptop, and there isn't a crack in sight after 4 years.

They fit my mbpr perfectly. It was easy to put on. Love how the apple logo part is cut out in the exact shape as the logo, with the apple and the leaf separated, allowing for better shine. Also like the openings at the bottom for ventilation. Have been actively using them for 2 months and no noticeable wear and tear. Doing a decent job at fending off dust and lint. The only disappointment is they came with scratches - very shallow but long scratches, on both top and bottom. But overall a satisfied purchase.

This cover is really cute however, the bottom piece does not fit properly, it seems small and trying to fit it on my computer in turn put stress on the plastic and place cracks in several places This is a more baby pink color but its very cute. I love the apple logo has a cut out area. Too bad its so poorly made. I was returning the first one that was cracked and bought another to replace it thinking it might have just been that one but it happened to the second one too. Horrible fit.

This case looks really nice once installed in the computer, but the packaging is just a plastic wrap with a UPC on it. This gives the case a cheap look. Other than that it's really nice.They should invest some more money on making this case packaging a little nicer. I know it's just packaging, but the presentation is everything in a product.

Very happy with this case! Solid, nice quality, great colors. And doesn't seem to scratch easily. I got the Top Case before and it was horrible! Scratchy on your arms, scratched and got dirty. This is very nice!

The case that I received was a VERY pale (and very transparent) pink -- not at all like the picture that I see with this listing. That's my main complaint.I didn't want to mess with returning it, so I used it. The case has held up well. The only thing wrong is that the pads on the bottom are beginning to come off.

I just bought a mac and it's my baby i take such good care of it and i dont know what happened but there are craps on the bottom of the case at the corners and the middle. it sucks
