This product along with the balance one liver support completely changed my life!! For reference, I am a 27 year old female, 5’4 height and 135 lbs. Over the last year I’ve been suffering from countless chronic conditions that countless doctors couldn’t seem to pinpoint the exact cause. My wife has benefited from many aspects of the CandidaDiet.com information, and so when I learned that they had developed a probiotic supplement for re-population of the gut with organisms helpful for battling Candida, we gave it a try. I like that each tablet contains 15 billion positive organisms, and that the tablet is designed to survive the passage through the stomach and actually make it to the intestines where the organisms will live. Even though it is shelf stable, we still store ours in the refrigerator, just in case, since we usually get several bottles at a time. My wife takes one with each meal. My wife is in the later stages of the candida diet program, and although there is no "dramatic" changes taking place as a result of the Balance One, we are fairly confident that her gut is getting populated/maintained with good bacteria. The tablets also contain a small amount of FOS (food) for the good bacteria. I recently had a routine colonoscopy, and after stripping my intestines of everything during the usual awful prep diet and procedure, I was concerned to make sure that my intestines had some positive organisms going back in to help stabilize my gut flora. Although the hospital and doctor said that the gut bacterial are not completely removed by the intestinal cleanse, everything I read online seemed to contradict that. The first meal after my mid after noon procedure, I took a Balance One and have continued to take one per meal for the last two weeks. My gut seems to be operating normally. I also added some raw sauerkraut and organic plain yogurt to my meals. I like the fact that I can take some of these probiotics in a small container in my laptop bag and not have to worry about the probiotics being damaged due to non-refrigeration during the day, either at work or on the road.

I like that this has many different Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium strains and is time-released. I feel protected taking this daily. Please note – It is shaped like a capsule, but it is a tablet that is not coated. If you have reluctance swallowing non-coated pills like me, be prepared to take a big gulp of water, or break them in half as described in #2 below. The company has excellent customer service. In addition to informing me that taking this with a good amount of water is important, they also recently sent a helpful email regarding how to take it for greatest potential effectiveness (I have copied & pasted some of it here, because I didn’t see this detail listed on the Amazon product page): Directly from Balance One, in ALL CAPS to distinguish from my own comments above: 1. TAKE THE PROBIOTIC JUST BEFORE YOU EAT. THIS IS WHEN YOUR STOMACH IS AT ITS LEAST ACIDIC AND IT WILL ALLOW EVEN MORE OF THE PROBIOTIC BACTERIA TO REACH YOUR GUT. EVEN THOUGH OUR PROBIOTIC USES TIME-RELEASE TABLETS THAT ARE ALREADY WELL PROTECTED FROM STOMACH ACID, TAKING IT JUST BEFORE YOU EAT IS STILL AN EXCELLENT IDEA. 2. DID YOU KNOW THAT YOU CAN BREAK THE PROBIOTIC TABLETS IN HALF? THIS IS ANOTHER BENEFIT OF USING OUR TIME-RELEASE TABLETS. SOME PEOPLE TAKE A HALF IN THE MORNING AND A HALF IN THE EVENING. IF YOU WANT TO TRY INCREASING YOUR DOSE, YOU CAN INCREASE IT BY HALF A TABLET AT A TIME. AND IF YOU HAVE DIFFICULTY SWALLOWING LARGER PILLS, BREAKING IT IN HALF WILL MAKE IT MUCH EASIER. 3. I have had no problems taking this probiotic.

Ive bought this probiotic for over 2.5 year on amazon , at various times I tried other brands Thorne, Seed, and others only to return to this one. Honestly it is the only probiotic that solves my sensitive IBS ... I take two a day once in am and then at Pm for my severity and when I forget .... my body goes right back to being out of wack... Highly recommend

I am currently suffering from Candida and I recently started Diflucan on Monday 1/2/23 and I am doing the candida diet.I started the candida diet on 1/3/23 and so for the past few months I have been trying out different probiotic to get my candida under control. For my first dosage of this probiotic I took about 4 tablets because I was skeptical about it being only 15billion CFU because all the other probiotics I’ve taken were up to 200billion per capsule. Anyways that same very night a few hours later. I experienced the worst headache and I had a fever. I am hoping this was a die off reaction. I’ve never experienced anything like this before with Diflucan so I am thinking it’s the probiotic and I am hoping I was experiencing some type of die off reaction. I really truly believe that the technology that they use really gets to the gut where it needs to balance everything out. I probably won’t take that many capsules again, I will probably limit myself to 2 a day but I already am feeling I might have found the best probiotic to correct my candida overgrowth caused by some antibiotics I took some months ago. I will update this review in a few weeks/months to let you know about the progress. Update, so this probiotic alone cannot combat candida. It is great to use in combination with a good fungus such as s. Boullardi. A bacteria probiotic cannot alone be used to get candida in control. You need a good fungus to battle candida and you need to incorporate a bacteria probiotic where this is where this probiotic comes in to re populate where candida had once exist. Fungus can be as big as 10 times as a bacteria and so treating with a bacteria probiotic alone is fighting a fight that you or they will not win.
