Rapala X-Rap Saltwater Fishing Lure

One of my favorite lures. Was slamming bass, mackerel and barracuda on this. I would definetly recommend to anyone that likes to fish inshore and kelp patties

You want to have a good time? Tie this thing onto an ultra light and throw it out for some Mackerel fishing? Mackerel are the most cannibalistic fish I have ever seen, the best bait for Mackerel .... is Mackerel. They hit live bait good, but they absolutely slam this thing. It's fun because if you're elevated, you can see the mackerel darting from 30 yards away to slam this thing, and when you have it tied on a 7' ultra-light rod... Hold On!! It makes fishing for bait fun.

No fish yet but typical Rapala quality. Got a bit of use finally this fall (Oct 23). Hooked up a bunch of Blues off Cape Cod until one must have got to my mono leader. The lure was all chewed up and I should have known it was a matter of time until one of those toothy suckers got to the line. I replaced the trebles with single hooks which I think cause a few misses but on the other hand you get lots of action when you get into a school of feeding blues. I think the single hooks also might allow more misses and a greater likelyhood of the fish hitting the leader. Next year, I’m going to try some 60 lb leader and maybe a short steel leader. I don’t thonk the blues care when they are feeding

I love fishing the jetty with this lure , the fish love it .

This is one of the best all around lures ive ever used, great for striped bass, blue fish, and well pretty much any fish out there that hits the top of the water

Swims well and very good quality. Caught a few halibut with this on the first day of using it !

Haven't caught anything yet. But its promising. I like it.

I've only ever owned one of these lures and did it ever work well. First 2 casts I got 2 nice walleye and then a couple casts after I hooked a monster and instantly broke my 30 pound braid. What can I say... been 2 years without using this style x rap and I decided I'm about ready to use it again this season.

Nice lure, nice movement and has caught me a couple of small bass off the South coast of England
