Then again I didn't put a lot of the colouring in as the liquid would affect the consistency of the whipping cream. Other things to consider would be purchasing a buttercream whitening liquid for better colour results as buttercream and creams have a natural hint of yellow in it and of course yellow+ blue creates a slight greener tone. I have yet to try the blue colour paste, maybe that would make a difference.

Not a royal blue, more like smurf blue. It does give a strong colour and no bad taste, however I would not buy again, mixed in icing for a childs birthday cake and it stained everyone's mouths and teeth quite badly and difficult to get off. I have the red and green as well, they are not as intense and would use them again, but not the blue.

If you’re looking for a strong blue food colouring, this is the one. Just one drop turns various food substance bright blue. Does exactly what I hoped it would do.

It is a really beautiful colour and it lasts really long but it is cheaper at Tesco or b&m.
