Bought with the description of newest version (2024) but disappointed with the usability and quality. no scale printed on device, so you have to remember what a good number is. Doesn't come with LR44x2 battery, so you will need to purchase it separately.

水耕栽培（大葉、ミニトマト）で肥料の濃度調整（EC値測定）に使用するため購入しました。使用回数はまだ5回程度（水道水、水耕栽培の肥料濃度調整）であり、耐久性については今後の評価となります。 良かった点 TDS、EC、水温（摂氏・華氏）の4項目を一度に測定でき、測定時間も数秒と短いため、非常に使いやすいと感じました。 操作ボタンは3つ（モード、クリア、電源/測定値保持）のみで、ディスプレイ表示も見やすく、直感的に操作できます。 測定精度については、付属マニュアルに±2%（0〜2000ppm）、±5%（2000〜9999ppm）との記載があります。一般的な水耕栽培や水質管理においては±2% FS程度の精度があれば十分という情報もあるため、この価格帯で簡易測定ができる点を考慮すれば、実用上問題ないレベルだと考えられます。 気になった点 付属のマニュアルが英語版のみで、機能や使い方の説明はある程度記載されているものの、具体的な測定時間の目安（「安定するまで」という曖昧な表現）、使用電池の型番（LR44）、電池の取り外し方（ケース上部を引っ張る）といった重要な情報が不足している点は改善を期待したいです。また、防水機能はないため、測定の際は電極部より上を水に浸けないように注意が必要です。 その他 商品の発送元は中国のようで、注文から到着まで9日間を要しました。梱包はビニール封筒による簡易包装でしたが、本体がプラスチック製のハードケースに収められていたため、破損等はありませんでした。電池は本体に装着済みで、すぐに使用できました。 総評 複数の測定項目に対応し、操作も簡単であるため、手軽に水耕栽培の肥料濃度を管理したい方にとって、価格を考慮すれば十分な製品だと思います。ただし、マニュアルの記載不足や防水機能がない点には注意が必要です。

The meter works and allows you to read and test your water. The only issue I have is that I paid and ordered for 2 but only received one in the box. I would have preferred to recieve another but the complaints site would not allow you to ask for this. I have now received a refund.
