Good bluetooth headset with ANC for connecting through laptop
The positives: Meets all objectives - being wireless with bluetooth connectivity. - having a good ANC - easy pairing with laptop. - having a specific external mike as opposed to having lots of embedded / hidden mikes and then using technology to overcome the various issues it causes. Most headphones advertise for hearing good music or watching movies. We were specifically looking for a work from home headphone for connectivity using a laptop (have not tried and do not require connecting with a phone). It meets all requirements. Comparable in feature-set to Jabra evolve 75 which is the other headset meeting these objectives. I personally think the Jabra headset has a slightly better form factor than this one but that is a marginal call. Also I prefer the additional length on the mike stalk that Jabra offers and also the mute feature by pulling up the mike stalk. However Jabra evolve -75 is not available easily of late and also got very expensive for some reason and not worth much more than this headset. Dislikes: Nothing of note but form factor could have been slightly better. Not a major issue though, just an observation. Nothing of note to mention in this section in terms of functionality. Updates after further usage: 1. Useful for calls upto an hour. The metal holding the headphone together has a spring like action pressing against the ears creating a certain pressure. Hence not very suitable for multi hour calls. This is not an issue with Jabra evolve 75. 2. Slight tunnel sound (as if sound is from a tunnel) compared to Evolve-75. Not a major issue at all, just noting down nuances. 3. Using the USB connector, connection and using the device on a different laptop is fast.

Perfect for long calls and noisy environment
I bought this for my wife after I got one from office and found its amazing to fulfill mobility, noise cancellation and comfort during this pandemic work from home. It's noise cancellation is amazing for me as well to other who are listening to me..many of the time when taking call other people don't get sound from my side for munching food as well as vaccume cleaning going on in the house. Also once ANC is enabled I too hear very less noise from my surroundings which allow to focus on meeting, although ANC is not completely cut me from surroundings but allow to concentrate. In terms of battery it's goes on long around 8 hours I have use contineously and didn't found battery low and surprisingly didn't found it hard on my ears during long use. Battery also gets charged super quick once put back on dock. Only one thing which can be improved in this product is range which is start to break after 10 steps but sometime it switch seamlessly band to reduce HD to SD sound when moving far than 10 steps.

Best noise cancellation for microphone.
Best for phone calls/Teams. But noise cancellation on music is not that good. But definitely the best office headphone in the market

All day work hack!
Meticulous design, neat ergonomics, and fits in perfectly well over the head. The load gets evenly distributed on both sides due to the head band. Excellent active noise cancellation and you could even choose between the level of your own voice that you want to hear when active noise cancellation is enabled. Extremely suitable for people attending to long long hours of office calls from home these days. I put this on and usually keep moving, walking inside the room while taking calls, ensuring I am not stagnant for long hours.

Not a “value for money” product!!
Pros: 1. Audio is decent. 2. Battery life is good. Cons: 1. Too flimsy - cracks started appearing in the first 3 months (of very careful use). 2. The headphone broke even before the EMI’s could be completed - disappointing. Overall: Not worth the price.

Comfortable, practical & utilitarian!
Excellent Product! Very Comfortable. Complements use in an environment that requires switching between Skype for Business and Mobile Phone. Hold charge for a good 6-7 hours of continuous talk. Excellent Range. Resourceful Dealer as well who was responsive to my queries. I received the 825m which optimized for Skype.

The headline should read: "Diehard Sennheiser fan prefers Plantronics product." I picked the Plantronics Voyager Focus over Sennheiser's competitive equivalents, and I do not regret it. The Voyager Focus delivers excellent Bluetooth connectivity and range, exceptionally clear incoming and outgoing audio quality, long-duration wearing comfort, and long battery life. They are compatible with all my Bluetooth-equipped computers, tablets, and phones, but I recommend using their included UC Bluetooth adapter with desktop and laptop PCs for best results. The on-ear pads are soft, the head suspension fits comfortably on my big head without tightness or looseness, and the adjustable mic boom is long enough for good audio pickup, but short enough to enable eating or drinking without interference. This audiophile snob is impressed with the stereo sound quality, and the ability of the microphone array to reject extraneous noise like background music and conversations, dogs barking, kids screaming, toilets flushing (!), etc. The Voyager Focus offers "middling" noise cancellation capabilities, so I would recommend looking elsewhere for something to use aboard a loud aircraft. The included charging stand is something I think all Bluetooth headsets or headphones should offer, because it offers an alternative non-USB method of charging the headset, and avoids the disaster of grabbing the plugged-in headset and breaking the USB connector like I have done several times with mobile phones and other devices. Lastly, the Plantronics software makes the headset highly configurable, and is updated frequently. Highly, highly recommended.

I'm on the phone pretty much everyday, working out of the home office or traveling which means a headset for calls is as mandatory as having a device for email. It would be a frustrating exercise to calculate how much money I've wasted on headsets over the years, both wired & wireless. The wired sets seem to have better sound quality (listening & speaking) but the cords always get jacked & the continuous untangling results in a short life. The Bluetooth sets die just as quick & I'd always replace them with a different model, hoping to find one that worked better but without much luck. To have a decent call w/ a Bluetooth, it seems you need to be in a soundproof room & sit perfectly still. Even if that was practical, what you hear & how you are heard is a roll of the dice & no mater which brand you pick or how much you spend, the calls are never as clear as a landline. FINALLY, I scored the Voyager Focus, hands down the best headset purchase I've made in years. Why? The sound is landline quality, I can hear everything clearly & those I'm speaking with hear me equally as well. It's loud when you need it to be & since the audio is in stereo, I have the volume turned lower than ever before. This is complimented by the noise cancellation which is really terrific, so much that I can be on a call with yelling kids in the background or a train can be passing by, & the background noise does not come across on the call. I tested this on a call in the city, walking downtown during rush hour & the call was as crystal clear as my office. The Focus also has terrific range, more than 5x that of any other Bluetooth meaning I can walk & talk around the office or home without needing to have my phone < 5 feet away. In addition to my mobile phone, it also connects to my PC, laptop, & iPad (easily connecting/switching between 2 devices at the same time). When if I'm listening to music & a call comes in, if I tap the headset to pick up, the music turns off & then turns back on when I hang up (a nice optional setting). Speaking of, the sound fidelity for music on this set is impressive on all ends. Since it has a great noise cancellation switch, I no longer bring the Bose headphones for the plane, using the Focus instead. Although it doesn't block out the background noise as much as the Bose does, it's close enough. It's a no-brainer since I can quickly switch over from music to pick up a call on my phone or make a Skype call on my iPad while sitting on the tarmac. I'm a hater when it comes to sitting next to someone blabbing away on their mobile. That said, when that call comes in & you need to take it, the Focus is the way to go. The audio is so clean, I can speak in a quiet voice (to be respectful to my neighbors) & those I'm speaking with on the call can't even tell. The Focus will also maintain a charge all day long (unlike my Note 5) & I've yet to have it choke for need of a charge. Admittedly, I still use my earbud headpiece (Plantronics Legend) when I'm out & about incognito. Although the Focus is lightweight & folds flat in a nice zippered bag for traveling, the over-the-head "call center look" is not so practical in between appointments. That said, for any important call where vocal & listening clarity is essential, I'll pull out the Focus & switch over. I write very few reviews but this headset is so impressive I can't recommend it more highly.

There's not much more to say, just read the tons of reviews in amazon and also youtube. I chose this among other models from Plantronics as well as Jabra, based on these reviews, and have to say I am super happy with this choice. Have been using this for about a month and here's my feedback. Plus points: - Works really well for teleconference, I use both Skype for business and Zoom - Mic and speakers are clear to me and my conference partners - Comfortable to wear for hours of teleconferences (although if not positioned or adjusted correctly, ears will hurt a bit) - Superb for music, balanced, good base and soundstage (comparing to my other headphones & earphones) - Mute button is very practical (had to install the application to get the button to integrate with Zoom, but now i can walk around and mute/unmute to talk, but mute does not work when mic boom is rotated vertical (need to test more, as I remembered it used to work with Skype) - all buttons and knobs are so practical, located well and easy to find Minus points: - Not much if you consider what its primary functions are but I am just nitpicking - As mentioned above, mic boom docking to vertical position does not auto-mute in zoom and vice-versa, but will try it out on Skype again, may be a Zoom setting thing or may be affected after I updated the firmware - ANC, I tried it out but not much improvement both on my side (speakers) and the other party (mic), so now i turned it off totally to improve battery life - With ANC on, sometimes there are slight cracking sounds emitted, during silence (nothing is playing, not in telecon), its quite annoying - Battery life is intermittent, a full charge can last a full week and sometimes 2 days, but I suspect it could be because of ANC, as I have been testing it out initially; ANC is turned it off now, so will monitor for battery life - Initially I paired to my Laptop and Samsung phone, after a telecon ended, the headset will automatically restart my music in the phone, which can be shocking if unexpected (as i play music at quite a loud volume) - have unpaired my phone as I don't really listen to music on my phone and take calls there (this point has also been mentioned in several reviews) Other than the points above, I was initially concerned over the many complaints of headset arm breaking, and always breaking at around the same area. One reviewer mentioned a good point, if left in the charging dock, and depending on the height adjustment, the whole weight of the headset is resting on one pivot point and causes stress on that area. For me, to prevent this, I only dock to charge when the headset tells me that i have less than 2 hours of talk time, and remove it immediately when fully charged. This also helps to extend the rechargeable battery's lifespan (I hope). Bottom line, I highly recommend this model if you're still looking for a reliable headset, monitor the price at Amazon as the price fluctuates from time to time and you may get a great deal, I did :-) !!
