Very easy installation. Works well. Holds charge for a good while.

I was very skeptical in purchasing an off brand battery for my HP Pavilion laptop but have been using my adapter for way too long, I finally took the plunge because my original battery was toast. When I received the battery, I took both the original and this one side by side and it looked identical for the most part. I then went to snap it into place and although the original was a smoother fit, this one clicked in after I aligned it perfectly. For a split second I thought maybe it wasn't going to fit because it was a little tighter than the original. Not tighter like I had to shove it in, just a big more snug. I put it in, then snapped it out to make sure I could do it again, like I wasn't trying to force it in, and it went in again no problem. I've had it for a few weeks and it holds a charge and I am a free woman to use my laptop without the adapter plugged into the wall (although I am still in a habit, haha!). I would highly recommend purchasing this battery if you need one for your laptop. It works, no problems so far. I'm happy with my decision. ***UPDATE *** It has been 4 years since I purchased my battery & it has worked great, holds a charge, no problems so far! (Nov 2, 2022)

Battery arrived quickly and it works. To potential buyer: Read all of the specs on your original battery before purchasing. I did and knew beforehand that the Amps/Volts/Watts were not exactly the same in at least one category. But I needed a WORKING battery that fits my aging HP Envy 17T exactly and this one does. HP still can "eventually" send me an exact replacement including in power, but good grief an OEM replacement is spendy these days! I gave this one a 5-Star rating mainly on that it came so quickly and that the price is reasonable in this inflationary environment. Battery does run down rather quickly as older 17" full power Windows 10 computers does suck the power away. I've ordered from this supplier before and also had received a battery quickly when speed was important.

Because I was charging my old battery incorrectly, I was looking to replace it with a new one. This product works as expected! Previously, due to my habits, I would need to keep my lap top plugged in at all times, or when I unplugged it, I would need to have it plugged back in within the hour. This battery lasts a couple hours. Hopefully I will follow the correct charging process and not ruin this battery too :(

I was a bit concerned with the fit but it works for my hP pro book 450g2. Initially I didn’t think the battery was holding charge but it turned out the battery was just dead although plugged in it said 64% but overall it works well.

Battery was installed and used in an HP Pavilion 17 laptop in December 2021. At first all seemed to work well. Decent battery life for a good price, but performance has deteriorated quickly to the point where less than 7 months later, unplugging the laptop from the AC adapter results in immediate shutdown of laptop, meaning that the battery was no longer capable of keeping the machine running. Fortunately, I still had the OEM battery on hand and was able to continue using that, albeit with short battery life. A piece of paper enclosed in the packaging listed a 1 year warranty and an email address to contact. When trying to obtain a warranty replacement, I attempted to use this contact information, and the email was bounced back to me as a bad address. I apparently am on my own. Maybe it's a bad unit- that's always a possibility. But be aware that getting the vendor to stand behind their product may be a challenge.

Battery was just delivered - one day as promised. Took a little wiggling to get it to fit in my HP Envy laptop. Battery I needed was an HP 756745-001 (no longer available from HP), which was a 15.0V 48Whr battery. This one is a 14.8V 2200 Mha. Ordered this one because it was "Amazon's Choice" - still not sure what makes a product a "Amazon's Choice" other than the supplier loads up Amazon's warehouse with the product for fast shipping . Not quite as pictured - nowhere is VIo4 printed on the battery. Appears to be just a regular Chinese knock-off like so many others that are available and can be had for less money. Came with about a 43% charge and I'm in the process of loading a full charge on it. Save yourself some money and get the same battery from a different suppler for $10 less. Started out giving it a 3 star rating because I have no experience with it yet. Will update later with the good or bad of it as time will tell. My original HP battery lasted over 10 years, but I mainly use my laptop with the power plugged in. It finally quit on me and would no longer accept a charge. Only instructions that came with the battery was a pamphlet full of warnings. Nothing regarding whether this battery retains a charging memory and has to be fully cycled several time when new. No warranty card, or instructions on who to contact for a warranty issue. So if I have a problem with it I hope it happens in the first 30 days because I foresee a problem trying to get "warranty" coverage in the next 12 months.
