Ocho Rios Oxtail Stew Seasoning

This is the best pre-mixed oxtail seasoning I have found, having tried numerous brands (including some of the more well-known ones). This one has no sugar or fillers, just the right blend of seasonings. You can use it by itself for a decent oxtail dish, or combine it with green seasoning, browning, Worcestershire sauce and fresh chopped aromatics and marinate overnight for truly special stewed oxtails that will impress even your Caribbean friends.

This is really good and spicy. It’s more complex then the one they sell at Walmart. It’s savory and hot. It gives a good flavor, aroma, and color to braised meat.

The area I live in doesn’t sell this in store and I had a hard time finding this fur a good price. Definitely will recommend.

Loved this seasoning! After a recent cruise to Jamaica my husband feel in love with oxtail soup. So, as soon as we returned home I tried my hand at making my own version. He remarked that he enjoyed mine even better than the one on vacation! The seasoning is not too salty which is great. Definitely will keep in my seasoning rotation.

This seasoning has a great taste. You will want to use it on various dishes besides Caribbean. That said, MSG is a primary ingredient so be careful.

Hands down the best seasoning for oxtails. Nothing needs to be added to it at all. No salt, Nothing Perfect!
