Review: If you buy only one cross stitch book this year make it this one. Worth every penny. It's a larger format version of the one previously released by Sharon Welch. The book is divided in sections. From animals, baby, garden, sewing, stitching, fruits, vegetables, flowers and each holiday from Christmas to Halloween, Easter & everything in-between. This book has so many options.The motifs can be used together to form a large picture or each one on its own is large enough to make ornaments for a Christmas tree or to use as cards, bookmarks, etc.. It includes many little motifs you can also add to a picture. There are also quite a few borders. I counted well over a 1000 designs. I originally borrowed this book from the library and was so impressed that I had to have my own copy. I cannot stress enough how great this book is for all occasions. Beautiful colored charts and a floss list to use, This book is great for both the beginner and experienced stitcher alike.

Excellent book for small projects. I lost mine and found it here. Cute holiday motifs for Christmas, Halloween, Easter, etc. Charts are clear and easy to read, in color.

This book is packed full with lots of bright, modern designs. Loads of variety and also has a section in front to tell the beginner the best ways to stitch, the best materials and the best equipment to use. The book is also a nice size, small and chunky so would fit in a bag if you are taking your cross stitch projects when you travel. I also think it would be possible to trace the designs on to the fabric with pencil, which may make copying the designs easier for a starter.
