ZEBRA G-301 Gel Stainless Steel 9 Pack w/ 6 Refill Cartridges

I've been using these pens for several years now. The line is smooth and bold, and the pen is pretty comfortable to hold. Others must like them too, because I've had more than a few disappear from my desk over the years... I've learned to keep a supply on-hand, and to keep the supply out of sight! I used to just buy refills for this pen at the office store, but Amazon's price for these pens is far lower than buying refills 2 at a time. I really appreciate that it comes with some refills, too, so I can extend the lives of the pens I manage to hang onto. As great as these pens are, they are not perfect. The refills don't last long - I can easily burn through a refill in a week with only moderate amounts of writing. I guess that bold lines is due to this pen putting a massive amount of ink on the page. The metal clip also bends out of place pretty easily and it's difficult to bend it back to close to the barrel. I wish the clip could be replaced or removed. These are very minor complaints, though, and are in no way even close to making me consider using something else. This is a solid value for a very good pen.

ZEBRA is WITHOUT A DOUBT the VERY BEST INK PEN EVER MADE!!!!!!!!! It not only writes FIRST time ....... EVERY SINGLE TIME, BAR NONE.............But the ink in much blacker than other pens, making it SO much easier to read and see, and it also will write on plastic, etc, things, that other ink pens would Never do!!! I am Profoundly Grateful to the man who gave me my first Zebra ink pen, as I had never heard of them before! I was filling out some paperwork with the Zebra ink pen he had handed me. I was SO impressed by it, I actually asked him if I could possibly keep it and he gave it to me. I had literally Dozens of ink pens from trying to find one that would actually write when "I" needed it to write..........not when they were in the mood to write.....which wasn't very often!! I'm sure you ALL know what I am talking about. It is beyond Totally frustrating, to say the least........BUT..............ZEBRA WILL CHANGE YOUR WRITING LIFE FOR THE BETTER THE SECOND YOU HAVE ONE IN YOUR HAND!!! TRUST ME........You will be THRILLED with this ink pen...........and NO..........I don't have any connection with this company except as a SUPER SATISFIED CUSTOMER!!! : ) YOU will be as thrilled with this pen as I am.............GUARANTEED!!!!!!!

I found the zebra pens which I really liked to fill out all of my paperwork at work but would always use throw aways. I found these refills which work great and I avoid having to buy replacement pens all the time. I love these pens

These Zebra G-301 pens have quickly become my absolute favorites. The writing is incredibly smooth, and the ink flows consistently without skipping or blotting. It just feels good when you’re writing—like the pen glides across the page without any drag. The stainless steel barrel gives them a professional look and a solid, well-balanced feel in hand. They’re comfortable for long writing sessions, and I love that they’re refillable—it’s a nice touch that they include 6 extra refills (4 black, 2 blue). So far, I haven’t had any smudging or bleed-through, even on cheaper paper. They dry quickly enough for normal writing pace and the 0.7mm tip gives a clean, medium line that looks sharp. If you're someone who writes a lot or just enjoys a good pen, this pack is a great deal. I’ll definitely keep buying these.

These are the best writing utensils I have used in my life and now they are the only pen I use. They have a professional aesthetic that is utilitarian but refined. I know this is subjective but in my personal opinion the flow rate and line width of the Zebra Gel is perfect. I use them daily in my profession and this is the best package deal I've seen. The amount of refills it contains is nearly perfect as the pen bodies themselves start to get worn out in about the time it takes to go through a refill. I recommend these pens to anyone in the office or the field who needs to be able to take notes and wants something professional but not too fancy. I would caution that the gel ink is depleted much more rapidly than that of a traditional Zebra ballpoint. If you're a student, for example, and are filling up notebooks by hand, you will go through these G-301's extremely fast and it could get expensive. I think for sheer volume and economy I would stick with the traditional Zebra F-301.

These are a great value. The cost to quality ratio is excellent. These pens are relatively small -- 5-1/8" long x 5/16" in diameter. They're very light, weighing only 11 grams. The barrel and clip are stainless steel. The clicking action is very good. The stainless steel pocket clip has just the right amount of tension. The inclusion of 6 extra refill cartridges is a bonus. My only two minor negatives are the size of the thin cartridges (small volume of ink) and the hardness of the black, checkered grip surface -- near the tip of the pen. It should have bee softer or more tactile. It's slippery. Nevertheless, these are quality pens for very little $$. The cartridge ink flow (0.7mm) is smooth and very dense black. With a softer grip surface and a larger capacity cartridge, these would be 5 stars. I highly recommend these pens.

Have been using these for over 10 years at work. I write a lot, and these are brilliant..

Background: I hate cheap ballpoint pens - they offer too much resistance when writing, and I find them uncomfortable to use :(. I did my research over an evening or two, and I cam across a number of roller-ball designs - this being one of them! The pen feels like a quality item, and the physical effort required to write is low (not the lowest, though!). The ink looks good ..... and the pack comes with refills ... good!
