Great front sight replacement.
This is a good front bead replacement. It doesn’t illuminate like the 1 inch long beads, but it works fine. It comes with multiple base size threads, which have to be able to fit on any gun.. I would buy it again if I needed it.

Decent product, harder to install than I thought
I purchased this for a shotgun I own in leu of a tactical scope or ghost ring sites to make it a little easier to use in low light situations. It *seems* to pick up enough light at night to work as advertised. However, install was a bear. The instructions say to use some emery to take off a little metal at the base of the screw so it will go in tight and align properly. I worked on this for a WHILE and never fully got it seated tight. So while its on, its probably tightened to 2lbs of torque and the thread lock I used is doing the rest of the work. I realize universal fit and machining tolerances on both the site and the gun come into play but it wasn't even close.

Budget sight with a surprising perk for home defense.
Installed on my home defense shotgun (Mossberg Maverick 88 12ga). The tiny green dot is handy and works as expected, but it's also way better than the brass bead sight when I'm using the mounted light at night. The black metal housing around the green dot absorbs light and contrasts clearly with the bright background. The stock brass bead is reflective and washed-out by comparison.

Easy install
Just follow the directions for an easy install. Fit my Mossberg perfectly and performs way better than the stock bb sight

Quality Control Issues
Quality control issues or these are not really 2.5mm. I bought 2 and one was spot on fit great on one shotgun excited to install it on another shotgun with the 2.5mm thread but it the second one I got was off by .2mm so it didn't fit at all. The picture I am showing what I got 2.3mm and 2.5mm the bead I was replacing. The description says it is aluminum but it is magnetic, not sure if it is an alloy or not but I doubt it is a strong thread, I'd be careful if you install this on an expensive shotgun, or just avoid it.

Not very bright in the shade
This works fine in open sunlight but it's so small it doesn't really gather very much light in the shade.

Exactly as described
Fit great on my h&r pardner pump. However I needed to use the mossberg 500 screws as opposed to the Remington 870. Nothing wrong on the manufacturer, the h&r is just a clone, so not everything is exactly the same. 4 stars because it’s not as large or visible as I had expected.
