Mityvac MV6840 Hydraulic Brake and Clutch Pressure Bleeding System

Works great

I should have bought this 20 years ago. It doesn't get much easier than this. I'll never go back to vacuum bleeding or having someone pump the brake pedal.

I had a 2019 silverado with a failed power booster/master cyl. SI stated pressure bleed was required. I absolutely hated having to drop close to 3 bucks on this thing, but after using it I was thanking god I had it. Only used once so we will see how it holds up in time. It has a bunch of attachments, a pressure gauge on the pump lid, and a pressure release valve. Some newer models you absolutely have to pressure bleed or you will be sitting around for 10 years wondering why it still has the same code. On top of being used to bleed the brakes quicker than you would be able to with a helper, along with not needing a helper, I also used it to pressure check a leak I had created by not threading in a brake line tight enough. After fixing the leak, doing the manual and ABS bleed. Code was a cleared and pedal was nice and responsive as hell. Pressure bleeding is by the far the best way to bleed brakes. Very happy with purchase. One last thing, people complained about it leaking from the lid. This did not occur on my vehicle but may happen further down the line. Will keep posted.

Works good but I've had a couple of vehicles that it didn't work on so now I have to order a universal adapter to see if that works. I would recommend this because work as it should

I've been in the auto industry for 20yrs and have used and seen all types of brake bleeders and must say this is hands down the best system on the market. This kit includes every type of adapter you would ever need, is very portable, easy to handle, easy to pump, stable non-tipping design, fluid level is the easy to check, and the pump design is the best. No other system on the market keeps the pump away from the fluid you are pressurizing which extends the life and prevents contamination to the seals. The bleeder and the gauge are on the top which prevent damage unlike many that have the gauge on the hose connection end. The shutoff valve being in the middle of the line is also handy and the connection and low profile design of the fitting allow for use in tight fitting areas. My only complaint about this about this system is that the hose that is used for this system will sweat brake fluid wither fluid is left in the line or not which requires you to always wipe the line off before using it so your don't risk getting fluid on the vehicle. I have called Mityvac and they said this is normal for this product. This might be the case for the clear line that is used but it is a nuisance and something you always have to be mindful off so you don't risk damaging any painted surfaces. Other systems use black hose which is very rigid and difficult to move around. Time will only tell if this line will hold up to years of use.

I bought this power bleeder set because my shop used the exact same one for years without problem. This easy to use and come with whole set of adapters that fit most of viechles. I bought couple other ones which were cheaper than this before, but they didn't last long. The pump has built in pressure gauge and it's very easy to read. It's a best choice for professional technicians

I’m just a shade tree guy, but this makes doing brakes a breeze. I bled 4 new calipers on a 1 ton in 10 minutes. Flushed a civic in the same amount of time. Super easy to use and well built

I use this in my home shop and it makes flushing and bleeding brake systems a one man operation. It also works well to bleed ABS systems as it pushes the fluid through and most times eliminates the need for an automated bleed with a scan tool.

I used it on a Ford Edge. Worked great

Very good for bleeding brakes on vehicles. I haven't tried it yet on heavy oils like transmission or differentials.

This is good product I recommend 100%.

Seriously, this is a good tool when you wish to bleed a brake system all by yourself. It supports many brands, however when it loses a star is the "universal" adapter I tried it on a few vehicles and on every occasions it led to disaster. This was on Honda vehicles in this case.

Works great also good for topping up hard to reach master cylinders
