Delicious & Nutritious
These are so good that it's hard for me not to devour the whole jar of these in one sitting. Macadamia are some of the healthiest nuts that exist. Full of heart-healthy monosaturated fat, vitamin E, manganese, magnesium, copper, iron. Packed with fiber, and low in carbs! It's one of the most perfect foods on the planet. You can never go wrong with Mauna Loa, always fresh and delicious, with a satisfying crunch.

The best
These are just the best of course they are also the most expensive. Once or twice a year I just have to have them and then they are worth it. I just have them for snacking. If you're looking for something to use in baking you can probably get away with less expensive brands.

Question Are These Hawaiian Macadamia Nuts?
I THINK NOT! If you want Hawaiian grown macadamia nuts—this is not that! I used to purchase Royal Hawaiian grown in Hawaii brand. Last year they disappeared from store shelves and were replaced with Mauna Loa. I tried them and the taste was a bit different, not as good in my opinion. As I looked closer at the package it said “Hawaiian Sea Salt” and the ingredients listed “macadamia nuts”. Nothing stated the nuts were Hawaiian. Lately “Hawaiian Roasted” has been added to the package. As consumers we need to pay attention. So I dug into the internet and Mauna Loa’s parent company Hawaiian Host Group also now owns Royal Hawaiian’s LLC. Amazon still sells Royal Hawaiian brand but also no longer states on package that these are Hawaiian nuts. For some people this may not matter at all. I happen to actually dislike and won’t eat macadamia nuts from other countries. They have a stale odd taste. I will say that Mauna Loa’s macadamias have a milder flavor but still a difference. Thanks to Amazon I was able to find a Hawaiian company who sells 100% Hawaiian grown macadamias, Hamakua Macadamia Nut Company. These nuts are delicious!!
