Certified International Bistro Soup/Pasta Bowls, 9 Inches

My husband gave me the Bistro dishes for my birthday, and I think they're wonderful. I lived in Italy years ago and bought a set in an open-air market by my house that was similar, but it was now chipped and needing replaced. Other than the pattern, this set is very similar to the set made in Italy that I've used countless times through the years. They have the same thickness and weight to them, which is thicker and a bit heavier than the dishes typically found in the US. These bowls are a perfect size for salads (especially a dinner salad), pasta, desserts... I love the colors and the fun, somewhat whimsical design as well. Two have a red bottom and two have a yellow-gold bottom.

Love these bowls. Perfect size for serving pasta dishes with a high enough side to keep it all in. Study and well made, with some heft to them, but not too heavy. There are four different designs in the bowls and two bowls come with a red bottom and two come with a mustard yellow bottom.

We absolutely love these bowls! They're very well made, whimsical, the price is extremely reasonable, they're just plain fun to use! What can I say, I'm a cheap date! I hope Certified International comes out with more pieces in this pattern.Thank you!

Purchased to replace similar dishes that had either broken, or were chipped through daily usage for over 10 years. I love their style, color brilliance and functionality. They easily hold a large plate of pasta, a large salad, or complex dessert. They are also deep enough to be considered a soup bowl. I only wish they made other styles of dinnerware. Great purchase.

These are really cute bowls & are pretty thick. They also hold quite a bit of food. Unfortunately they are a little different than pictured. In the photos there is an exaggerated lip, which to me is a crucial feature & one of the reasons I chose them. However there isn't a lip - it's just a bowl so there's nowhere to rest bread or other items - which is quite a disappointment. But they're the only ones who would ship to Alaska (pricey) so it won't pay to return them. Luckily I still have 3 other bowls with a lip I can still use. I will still use these but they are not what I was expecting & hoping for.

Liked the design. Similar to the ones my wife had and loved, but with age, finally broke. Size is perfect, price was reasonable, and my wife loved them.

Love these bowls. They are a very nice size. Great for chilli, stews and pasta dishes.

Ordered these for my daughter and son-in-law who requested "Pasta Dishes" for Christmas. They loved them and my son-in-law even complimented the colors saying he was so tired of plain white dishes! They seem to be good quality and have a solid substantial feel without being too heavy like some stoneware products. All the pieces arrived on time and in excellent condition. I can't speak to how well they will hold up to normal wear, tear, and washing but I'm sure I would have heard from the kids if there were any problems.
