This mix is reliable for making stew that tastes good and doesn't need a ton of different added spices. It cuts down a lot on prep work. The packets also make a generous amount that you can freeze for later, if necessary. I've made it using whatever hard veggies I had available, and found that it's best not to add too much onion or garlic because the seasoning mix has plenty.

This makes basic stew taste like it simmered all day. The seasoning is on the savory/peppery side and you barely have to measure anything, just add meat and veggies. I took off one star because it’s a little salty if you don’t add extra water, but overall super convenient.

Tastes very good with shredded beef. There is a different recipe on the package, but what I do is get a 5 pound package of beef for beef stew, put it in the instapot with one of these seasoning packets and add cups of water. High pressure for 45 minutes. That’s it, comes out perfect. The meat will be soft to the touch and can shred with forks or I use a stand mixer to shred it up in seconds. I then stuff it in a tortilla and air fry it.
