Except for microfiber, not much has changed in detailing. I really like this book to follow the systematic approach to making my Mini-Rocket sparkle. Left to my own devices, I get flustered trying to do everything at once, and feel as if I'm forgetting something. Using this handy book has saved me countless hours watching YouTube how-to videos, leaving me ample time for important things, like funny cat videos.

This book was very helpful. I discovered a lot of new techniques to detailing a vehicle. I have a new avocation.

being an automotive detailing student, this book was helpful with useful information about a varity of topics. I found the chapters helpful in looking up the different topics. I recommand this book for anyone who's getting into learning about automotive detailing.

This book is based on old technology, old wax and old ideas. Don't waste you time on this book. It wasn't that helpful

This book is probably better suited for the average person wanting to know how to get their car REALLY clean. Pro deatailers may not get as much out of this as they would like. This book concentrates on what to do, in what order it should be done, and what products to use....and relies mostly on the directions on the products to give you instructions. The high points were the chapters on Wheels & Tires and Interior Detailing. I found they were the most detailed with the instructions given. This book also contains a chapter about Detailing as a Business. Gives the basics about how a detail business is operated. If you haven't read a detailing book before, I would recommend starting with this one before moving on.
