Added this to my collection of Tapo related goods and I am happy to say that it works flawlessly! Easy to set up via the Tapo app and the picture quality is astounding for not just what it covers, but for what it captures. It even set up the internet connection without me having to do anything other than tap 'ok' - it was that simple! Easy to pair up with google home (so far) and I need to dip more into that area to see what it does connect to. I get notifications on the device I've set it up to - silent ones, so a message will pop up on the screen to inform me that activity has been detected. I love the battery life too - my previous doorbell camera had to be recharged so often it spent most of it's life off the door. No subscription fees either - pop a micro SD card in it and it will capture activity on it, or you can watch on your device and you can record straight to your device (not good if you only have limited space available). Either way, I do wish I'd bought this FIRST.

Love this doorbell, it was my second attempt at buying one, returned the first. It works really well even with my poor quality wifi. I attached it to Alexa and found the app brilliant and easy to follow for set up. It's perfect for me as I'm disabled and it takes me a while to get to the door. I use the call feature where it calls my mobile, which I find very easy to use and allows me to speak to the caller, very clear sound and great picture quality, can also leave a message that operates when you're not there to tell couriers where to leave your parcels, love it! Battery life shows on the app so you know when to remove for charging!

Love tapo products, not only due to being able to use a microsd but for their seamless easy to use app. This is a great doorbell - not good for long distance. However the battery lasts a while and changing doesnt take long at all! 4 hours maybe. There's also a lot of security when it comes to pulling it off - you need a screwdriver to unlock it. Love it!

I had a ring doorbell and was paying £50 per annum subscription, not anymore as i paid £50 to purchase the tapo D130 doorbell + £20 for a tf card. Excellent value as the D130 runs off my old doorbell transformer, so no need to charge batteries. This D130 bell has excellent settings so you can set boundaries even in a triangler shape if you want to stop false alarms. I had a couple of setup problems to start with which I rectified in the settings and Internet connection. When i first tried to connect to the Internet the app said connected but no Internet, it was confusing as i know i had good Internet connection with a fast speed. The problem was that i also had a tp link mesh system to extend the Internet signal about 50 meters, that was confusing the bell as it was picking up 2 signals at once. This problem was cured by turning the mesh system off. Once the bell connected to my router, i then turned on my mesh system again. The bell now works great on the router and mesh system. The second problem was false alarms, My home is a L shape with th door in the internal corner. When i set the boundary lines, i messed up by setting the line to cover the whole door and windows not realising the glass had reflections outside the boundary line on it. This caused the false alarms. I contacted tapo customer care and they sent me possible solutions that were causing false alarms, glass reflections were on the list. I lowered the detection line to just below the glass, which solved the false alarms. This bell has a great customer service. I can only give a full 5* review as 100 percent as this D130 bell/camera is great. It connected to Alexa strait away by going to the Alexa settings, the supplied chime is at the rear of my house about 25 metres from the bell and works great, also with a good selection of tunes, and how long it will ring for.

Reasonably priced local storage video doorbell. Easy to fit. I also bought the H200 hub so i could use a micro sd storage card inside the house. I use the hub as a chime downstairs and the included chime upstairs. It can also be configured to announce on my Alexa Echo Dot and Cube. Its set to a constant loop recording and the alert zones can be set. No cloud subscription needed. The camera picks up high quality colour video brilliantly at night without the onboard spotlight. I found the camera works better at night without the spotlight. The light reflects from the wall even though I have used one of the angled plate and darkens the rest of the image. I have included a video of the jumper connection needed when installing. I placed the hub next to my WIFI router and plugged the ethernet cable from the hub into the router. I found it easier to set the hub chime and then pair the doorbell chime to the door bell itself. I defo wont miss any more door bell calls and Alexa tells me too. All in all, very happy with these devices. The micro SD card needs to be formatted in either device prior to using. The Tapo app is really goodtoo. I have other devices connected. All works really well.

I actually bought this to put in the garden so I knew when my ducks came home to go and shut them in their pen as it was cheaper than the wildlife cameras. It’s a fantastic piece of kit. It picks up movement straight away and the video quality is amazingly clear. The night vision video quality is the same. The app works very well and the playback is great. Nothing bad to say about this item. Sturdy, well made, so easy to set up the bell and app. Price is great. Battery life used up quite quickly as there’s a lot of activity in the garden so it was sending info all the time. If used as a normal door bell it would last a lot longer.

Quelle caméra! La qualité d'image est spectaculaire. Mais il faut surtout parler de la grande simplicité d'installation! Wow! Quand j'ai vu le guide de démarrage rapide, je me suis dit, "ouais, pas sûr que ça sera aussi simple...". Bien oui, c'est tellement simple... Une fois l'application en route sur mon téléphone et la sonnette en mode "ON", tout se fait pratiquement automatiquement; le plus compliqué sera de retrouver le mot de passe de votre réseau wifi, :-) Ce que j'apprécie le plus, franchement, c'est le fait de pouvoir accueillir mes visiteurs tout simplement en répondant à la sonnerie de mon téléphone. Et mes visiteurs me confirment qu'il comprennent très bien ce que je leur dis: le son est excellent, et c'est la même chose de mon côté. La seule chose qui m'a causé souci fut de trouver où se cache l'option 'antivol': il s'agit de l'option qui déclenche une alarme dans le cas où quelqu'un essaierait de partir avec votre sonnette. La documentation en ligne qui accompagne la sonnette indique que cette option se trouve dans le menu "Paramètres", mais il s'agit d'un autre modèle de sonnette... Dans le cas de cette sonnette-ci, il faut aller dans les paramètres, puis choisir "Sonnette": vous y trouverez l'option Antivol.

Montage makkelijk. Er zijn handige plaatjes bij om de bel in verschillende hoeken aan de muur te bevestigen. Ondertussen 2 weken in gebruik en batterij staat op 95%. Wel best een micro SD-kaartje bijbestellen. De binnenbel is wel enkel geschikt voor een Amerikaans stopcontact, best dus ook een stekkeradapter VS - EU bijbestellen.

Anteriormente teníamos un Ring y lo que más nos ha gustado de Tapo es que no tienes que pagar una suscripción para ver el historial de grabaciones, pues puedes utilizar una micro sd (no incluida) Puedes utilizarlo con su batería o con su transformador (no incluido) pero que conseguimos aquí mismo en Amazon, para no tener que estar recargando la batería Incluye un chime, para que lo conectes en el lugar que desees Muy conveniente, que cuando timbran se abre en tu celular la opción de ver quién timbra y tú decides si activar o no el micrófono. Con esta función, no es necesario que abras la app como en Ring Tiene muchas otras funciones y por ello estamos más que contentos con la compra. Muy recomendable
