I had never used silica before but I bought this, used it once and immediately noticed a difference in my plants. Especially with root growth. Will buy again! Edit: this WILL make your roots grow almost uncontrollably. The plants I’ve used it on are ALL outgrowing their pots so just be aware! It’s fantastic!
