It came well packaged. It’s a good value for money - I bought them last year and still have a few left when using regularly. It is a better value than buying them in boots or other local shop. I don’t recommend using them on the dry skin as it can irritate it - I found it perfect during the shower. The head has parts that dissolves gel which gives extra smooth feeling when using. Blades are sharp and last for a few weeks, depending on the usage. I love how easy and quick it’s to remove hair with them. The handle has a good design too, which makes it a great product all together.

Leave smooth hair free skin, nice close shave with no irritation. They smell lovely and you don’t need to use a separate shaving gel/foam so easy to use and take up less space for travelling. Had the same handle for a few years now and the blades still change over easily and fit securely. The only thing I have found is that the moisturiser strip sometimes falls off if water is very hot but it’s only occasionally that this has happened. They last a while and are well worth the money.

Okay okay okay we all know that Gillette aren't exactly the Mary Poppins of cosmetic companies and there are lots more environmentally conscious and vegan friendly companies out there. I get that. Honestly. I do I use as many vegan cosmetics and cleaning products as I can, not least because I have two cats and don't want them to be exposed to harsh chemicals in our home, but also because I love the earth and the animals in it and don't want them to suffer in the name of capitalism (or for any other reason!). However. I also have very limiting mobility issues and physically do not have the strength or energy to put shaving cream all over wherever needs shaving, then go back and shave said unwanted hair, then go back and rinse it. That's a LOT of work with poor grip, constant excruciating pain in all joints and muscle groups, and multiple other chronic illnesses to battle with, on top of having hair that grows like cress!!! I also have a lot of sensory issues, especially related to touch, and frankly it makes me happy to have smooth, soft skin, which is absolutely my right as a person living inside a body. So, the whole process of getting clean and shaved is a HUGE deal for me, and anyone else who has to deal with debilitating physical/neurodivergent issues, for that matter. The soap/moisturising bar around the razor head smell absolutely delicious, all coconutty and vanilla-y and utterly edible (don't try it though), and they leave your skin feeling so smooth after shaving that you don't even necessarily need to use moisturiser (although you should, supple skin is happy skin!). The amount of blades mean you don't have to keep going back over the same bit of skin time and time again so you can finish the job quickly and with minimal exertion. They may not be the most ethically superior brand out there, but let me tell you, a lot of these halo-polishing planet savers give absolutely ZERO thought as to how their customers with limited mobility can cope with the laborious job of removing unwanted hair. As soon as I can get an ethically-produced six-blade razor of this quality with built-in moisturiser/soap block, I'm in, but until the day that the smug Vegan™ companies can start combatting their inherent ableism, these are the only blades I'll ever use.
