Will this work in a 2001 jeep wrangler

If it has an obd2 port but is designed mainly for diesel engines. Will work, but some paramterters may not read that are relevant to diesels

If i only want temps can i chose this or any gauge display and how many at a time and is it fully customizable ablitity to chose what to show?

You can choose any temperature that your OBD monitors. There are multiple gauge layouts with up to 8 per iDash. Currently on mine I have EGT, ambient air temp, corrected vehicle speed, boost/vacuum, manifold absolute density, fuel rate, and mass airflow.

Will this clear code an allow forced regens

It forces regen only 2020 LM2 Duramax, I don't know what other trucks/cars it will do its under diagnostics.
