Went on smoothly and evenly, dries quickly with a glassy finish. This is now my forever favourite and will continue using seche products.

Great shiny top coat. Used to use the Sally Hansen gel shine top coat but I found the nails chipped quite quickly. With Seche my nails last roughly 10 days. Will definitely purchase again once I’ve used this bottle.

Love this top coat! It's very fast-drying (great if you're impatient!), easy to apply and leaves a lovely shine on your manicure. There is some shrinkage after a few days, hence the 4 stars.

This is, hands down, my favourite top coat. Positives: - super glossy - has that same 'plumping' effect as a gel topcoat, which makes anything sparkly look INCREDIBLE - lasts for ages. My nails reject polish-- it literally peels off in one piece (without using a peely base!) after a couple days no matter what base I use. But if I make sure to seal around the edges and tip with this, it lasts for at least a week. And doing the same thing on people with less oily nail beds, it's lasted up to 18 days with one or two minor (accident-inflicted) chips. Which is WILD (I am also using orly's bonder base as well on myself and my friends so it's not JUST that I'm sealing with topcoat, but it plays a big part!). - it's cheap! Compared to most brands' own quick-dry topcoat (I own them from a bunch of different brands including holo Taco & moon at) it's literally half the price. And while Holo Taco's is my second favourite, seche vite is still the best. - it dries hard SUPER FAST. I have very little patience and am very forgetful, so not having to wait too long before I can use my hands without ruining my nails is very important. Negatives: - it dries hard SUPER FAST. it will start to dry on the brush immediately. If you aren't fast enough it can be a bit goopy and difficult to spread over the whole nail, so it takes a bit of getting used to. Other quick-dry topcoats take a bit longer, and so give you slightly more working time - you WILL need to buy a nail polish thinner, seche do have their own and it works great (on all polishes, not just this one). This is because as soon as you open the bottle it is exposed to air, which starts the chemical reaction which causes it to harden. As you use more of the polish, there will be more air in the bottle, and it will start to get thick and goopy. Luckily just a couple drops of polish thinner (and some shaking) will restore it! And a bottle of nail polish thinner will last you YEARS. - the opaque bottle. I know brands do this to try and mimick the look of gel polishes but a) it's confusing to consumers, and b) you can't see how much polish is left in the bottle. Overall I absolutely adore this topcoat and highly recommend it IF you're fairly quick at putting a top coat on!

Best top coat - really shiny and hardwearing

Not as good as the original. Chips very easily. Will be going back to the original version.

This top coat is really excellent and gives both shine and longevity. You need to know the top tip which is to apply it IMMEDIATELY after the last coat of colour polish. Do one hand at a time so you can get that top coat on straight away (you'll think the colour is too wet to apply it, do it anyway). Put it on thick. A day or two later, put on another coat. Once I started putting the top coat on immediately after the second coat of polish, it extended the longevity considerably.

I love gel effect polishes so had high hopes for this, especially as it claims to be quick drying. It does do what it says - it dries quick enough that I didn’t have to worry about smudging which was great! The shiny, gel-like effect looked lovely too. However, it peels off ridiculously fast!! I’ve used it 3 times now, over different tried & tested brands of polish, and each time it has peeled off just 24hrs later. So unfortunately this has just been a waste of money, and I can’t recommend it.
