Needed a sturdy ID badge holder and this does the job. The straps are sturdy and the leather still looks good despite every day use. The pocket holds a few business cards and /or credit cards so I don’t have to have my purse with me if I have to make a quick trip. Also no problem using scanners with this.

I bought this as an easy way to hold my magnetic entry card at my company where have to CONSTANTLY use it to enter doors after leaving the main work areas.I wasn't sure how it would turn out as some of the reviews here were rather critical. It turned out I was impressed and the negative reviewers were very wrong!So far I'm really happy with it. It looks really professional and features nice-looking dark leather and a well made front visible area.The biggest surprise that I really appreciated was the rear section which can hold my debit card. When taking work breaks or eating lunch with coworkers I don't have to carry a wallet anymore, ha ha. Nice! As long as I'm wearing my badge holder I'm good.I strongly disagree with the other reviewer who wrote: "Inexpensive looking/ feeling with a horrible toxic/ chemical odor." Absolutely not correct. If anything, even when brand new I could barely smell mine at all (and I have an advanced sense of smell). There's a very light leather (natural) leather odor and that's all.The neck strap (called a "lanyard" sometimes) is actually a continuous loop with a very strong clasp to clip onto the holder. The clasp's spring is quite strong, so that's much less of a concern. I don't see how it could break without very strong and unusual force.It's also very light and comfortable, too.There aren't any instructions included, so while that's not important to me, for some buyers that's just something to be aware of (just in case). That's the only downside I've found.Overall, it's a great little badge holder for what I paid and definitely worth your money. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I use the badge to hold my drivers license and car insurance ID, and it's a very, very tight fit. I carry a credit card on the reverse side. It would be nice if the stitching allowed an extra 1/8 to 14 inch width to make removal of these items easier. The leather is also very stiff; I would recommend a softer or more giving leather. I like this badge holder, but am disappointed that the lanyard it came with didn't have any 'adjustability.' I now use another lanyard. All-in-all, a good -- not great -- product.

used it as my lanyard for a cruise and got several complements on the pearly look. Window is plenty large enough for the sail and sign without removing it and the neck pc snaps off for washing or whatever. I'd def purchase again.

Love that this was an inexpensive fix to my second broken lanyard. Appears to be good quality and better than mine that cost 5x the price that I had.
