One of the tastiest gins around.

After purchasing this. I read some of the reviews and was a bit disappointed to read that not many found this gin actually a Christmas Gin. I almost cancelled the order. As Christmas is what I was buying it for. Decided to try just a little when it arrived and like so many others have to say that this is really a nice Gin. I'm not sure what I expected. I do love nutmeg and definitely could taste it in the gin. The spices are warming and not over done. I am not really a tonic lover, but tried it with that and also lemonade both work well, although I think probably lemonade probably makes it a bit more Christmassy. It is definitely a dry gin. Really pleased now that I didn't cancel the order. The Black Friday price has also made this a very good buy. It definitely will not be the one and only bottle of this gin I buy.

Lovely festive gin with just the right hint of spice and a deliciously different aftertaste - mixes well with tonic but really shines in a martine with a dash of good quality dry vermouth. Our favourite Christmas tipple and we bought extra to gift to friends and family.

A beautiful drink. You can either have it as a liqueur if you like (the flavours are amazing) or if adding tonic - make sure you use a high quality tonic - it makes all the difference. Don't wait for Christmas to enjoy this - it's lovely at any time of the year! I first bought this at the Bath Christmas Market - the price has gone up a bit since - but still worth it on those many special occasions throughout the year!

GREAT BOTTLE AND BOX NOT TASTED YET THOUGH BUT WOULD MAKE A NICE PRESENT

I've tried a few Edinburgh gins and as this one was on offer (£23 at time of review) I decided to give it a go. I wasn't disappointed - it was delicious. I tried it with Clementine tonic and it slipped down. It comes in a lovely gift box and will make a welcome present but I'm keeping it for myself.

Besondere Note durch die weihnachtlichen Gewürze. Dabei nicht so scharf. Immer ein gutes Geschenk für Gin-Liebhaber.

Mit EG biss her gute Erfahrungen gesammelt und deswegen trotz zusatz von Aroma hohe Erwartungen an Geschmack und Ausgewogenheit gehabt. Bereits um Nosing wurde ich enttäuscht. Es riecht nur nach sprit. Der erste Schluck sehr enttäuschend. Nur Anis raus geschmeckt. Keine Komplexität und ungenießbar. Nicht weihnachtliches. Nichtskomplexes. Keine Myrrhe kein Weihrauch. Kein Tonicwater war in der Lage das zu retten. Dank Rückerstattung ist das Geld n8cht verloren. Kauf mir davon einen meiner Lieblingsgins.
