Zoo Med ReptiSun 5.0 HO T5 UVB Lamp, 34" L, 39 Watts

They are an expensive but necessary bulb to keep your reptiles healthy and to help prevent MBD (metabolic bone disease). Never as good as the actual sun though. Just need to remember to change them out every 6-12 months whether they are burned out or not, bc the critical uvb B output is gone by then.

Lasts about a year on 12 hours a day. We use this for our bearded dragon. The first one burned out right about one year. Seem to keep UVB emitting during that time based on the UVB card we use. Though I don't know at what intensity. The second bulb lasted more than a year but we went ahead and replaced it at that time due to not knowing the intensity.

The item came well packaged an undamaged, it's just the quality of the bulb that I give it 1 start ,its now day 10 with the bulb an it burned out already.my other bulb lasted almost a year why did this one go out so fast?A waste of time and money don't buy

This UVB light is great for reptiles. It helps keep their bones healthy and prevents skeletal issues. I have been using this brand since the beginning and have no complaints with this brand.

Ordered them had to reorder because the bulb was broken inside the box when I received it. There is nothing on the box indicating that the item inside is fragile.

I have a Three Toe Box Turtle, I keep year round in a indoor habitat, I built for him. He’s a little over a year old now and has dune great under this light. It was time to replace his light bulb, so I put in the exact same bulb.Very happy with it.Update: I still depend on this bulb to keep my turtle healthy. I replace it every year. Just purchased a new one today.
