I got these as back up, emergency batteries, for my cell phone. Whether I am out on the road and don’t have my charger close by, or we experience bad weather , causing us to lose electricity, I wanted to have a guarantee, that I could always use my cell phone. Last week, I needed an emergency, battery for my phone. We had a broken front axle on our car, and needed to get it towed as well as needed to get a ride home. I was so happy to open up my emergency battery. I get teased slot because I like to be prepared for whatever. So I was very proud to pull out my back up battery. However, when I opened it up, and plugged it into my phone, I got NOTHING!! I mean NOTHING. I thought maybe it’s not connecting well in my phone, for whatever reason. Sadly, I needed it, and I got NOTHING. I had given 1 to my other daughter and 1 to my son. I called them and told them to try those, to see if it was just the one I had that was faulty. I learned that they were all faulty. I can’t comment on the charging speed, because mine was “0”. Charging capability, “0”. Weight, was great for taking it with me in my purses it was very light and compact. I am hoping , my chargers, were the only ones that are bad. However, I can’t see why that would be the case. Hopefully the company will look into this and see what could have caused them to not work. I would definitely think twice, if you are buying an emergency back up charger, before buying these.

These batteries are for emergencies - so I hope I never have to use one for real. That said, if I am going to count on it in an emergency it seemed prudent to try one directly out of the packaging. First things first: the packaging says "Fits in your wallet." This is a claim you should not take seriously. It's 2.5" x 2", with a presumably-fragile lightning connector sticking out the top another half an inch - and almost a full half-inch thick. To put it into perspective: thicker than your iPhone, almost as wide, and about 40% of the height. It does have what appears to be a lanyard hole - I guess you could string a cord through there and make a fashion statement wearing it around your neck. It has a physical On/Off switch, which makes me want to believe that battery power is truly being preserved when it is in the Off position. The battery claims 2200mAh - which is only going to be enough to charge your phone to 50% or so even in the best case scenario. There's a blue LED to show when the battery is switched on. When switched on and connected to my iPhone 12 Pro, it begins charging as it should. I started a test at 48% battery life, and an hour later I was at 78%. I checked again an hour after that, and was at 92%, but noticed the phone was no longer charging. The LED was still on, so do not trust the LED as an indicator of charging ability. The battery got slightly warm, but never hot, while charging. One is going to go in the car's glove box, one will go in the drawer with the flashlights, and if I ever need them I'll be glad they are there.
